Kims Bookshop

Lovely old shop, right next door to a great novelty shop. Situated very central to everything you need in Arundel. Huge range of stock as can be found in all branches of Kim’s. Good place to be if your wife/husband is shopping elsewhere. Can be a bit tight getting around the shop, (don’t go in with any shopping bags). Prices very reasonable and you can be tempted to spend more than you were going to!

What a find.

This is an excellent little second-hand bookshop with an amazing stock of books. I could have spent a whole day in here, and also spent silly amount of money. The interior is just as a second-hand bookshop should be - narrow passages, creaky stairs, old wooden bookcases.

The stock includes especially large sections on transport, history, military history and local history, and has a good selection of second-hand Ordnance Survey maps. In the end, I managed to restrain myself and bought just one book (an Anniversary present for my long-suffering significant other).

You could buy a much nicer souvenir of historic Arundel in here than in many of tourist tat shops nearby.
