Great place to eat. Good for a special occasion. Not the cheapest but generally the food is superb.

Ronnies is an asset to Thornbury, it has attracted more eating places and cafés but Ronnies is still the best. Ronnie himself is friendly and helpful. I organised a staff Christmas meal there a couple of years ago and it was superb. The food and service were both faultless and my colleagues were amazed at how good it all was. Even the Telegraph has given it an excellent review!

Went there once. Really delicious food if a bit overpriced. But the stuff made up for the cost by being really attentive to your needs and fast to render your requests.

My colleague Andy and I stumbled on Ronnies as it came up on his iphone when we were looking for somewhere to get a latish lunch after a business meeting.

I had a pleasant decontructed piemonte red pepper - red peppers, anchovies, capers, olive oil, balsamic - and a superb risotto primavera. Andy had a cauliflower soup and then.... hmmm sorry lost it!

We shared a Chalkers Crossing Chardonnay which was excellent.

The service was friendly and relaxed. Definite yes.

Ronnies was a joy. The staff were both effecient and friendly. The decor felt clean and uncluttered. These pale into insignificance though compared with the food which was absolutely magnificent. Every course was a joy with wonderful ingredients cooked and presented to perfection. Definitely Bristol's best 10/10

Great for a coffee or light snack in the day. The staff are really friendly and helpful. Enough space for pushchairs and they have baby changing facilities which is rare in Thornbury. The resturant is wonderful some say it is expensive but you get an excellent quaility meal without having to travel into the city and pay for taxi’s or car parking. It has had some very good reviews about its food.
