Stone Arts Ltd (Granite Worktops)

We recently had our kitchen completely replaced, and wanted to set the whole thing off with top quality worktops. We tried a few suppliers, but were confident that Stone Arts could deliver what we wanted. Rak allowed us to go through a number of colour choices before we settled on absolute black, which, against the oak floor and green unit, was the best choice. The templating, production and installation were handled well, and we are very pleased with the results!

I have recently used Stone Arts in Southampton to supply and fit a large amount of granite in my kitchen in Rownhams.  I shopped around quite a bit getting quotes and samples from both local suppliers and online suppliers and was so pleased that I came across Rakesh and Stone Arts.  In all key areas such as price, quality and professional advice Rakesh was so much better than anyone else I dealt with.

Rakesh spent ages talking and advising me and used his considerable expertise to help me make the right decision on what type of granite would look best with the kitchen I had chosen.  I went with Star Galaxy in the end and having seen samples of Star Galaxy from other suppliers I couldn’t believe the vast difference in quality.  Not only did Rakesh have the best quality Star Galaxy he also had it at the best price!  Rakesh liaised closely with the person installing my kitchen and gave invaluable advice on how to fit the kitchen so that the weight of the granite would be best supported.

When it came to fitting the granite Rakesh and his team arrived promptly, were friendly, tidy and absolute perfectionists.  I love that when dealing with Stone Arts you are dealing with the man who owns the business and has incredibly high standards.  If he wouldn’t have it in his kitchen it isn’t going in yours!

I ordered 2 granite fire hearths - I was very impressed with the speed if the service. The customer service was excellent which carried through to the delivery. I would recommend Stone Arts without hesitation.  The price was higher than internet companies, but the quality of the granite was also higher, add to this the service & that they are local company balances this out easily.

Since moving into our home 4 years ago our kitchen had been a pretty much a building site which was bodged together from various bits of cabinets and odd worktops, so we had a big job on our hands to get it looking perfect. We were working to a budget so the worktops would be the most important finishing touch.
We were contemplating having either granite, wood, bamboo or Corian, all looked great but were either not too practical or too expensive in the end. After finally a lot of searching online for quality worktops and visiting various kitchen showrooms we decided to pop into Stone Arts which was handily not too far away from home. 
Straight aways Rak made us feel very welcome and at ease, we were mightily impressed by the quality and value of the worktops on offer. After chatting with Rak he immediately understood what we look we wanted to achieve in the kitchen and we decided to go for the Star Galaxy granite. The Star Galaxy was truly beautiful and had amazing depth that was missing from the other worktops we looked at previously, there was a bit of sparkle but subtle enough to make it not too 'blingy'.
Rak's product knowledge, passion and enthusiasm for his job is brilliant, there was no hard sale from Rak and we decided right there and then Stone Arts was the place to spend our hard earned cash for the perfect finishing touch on our kitchen.
The whole ordering process was nice and easy and then templating soon followed. We were due to go on holiday shortly after and Rak scheduled us in for fitting just after we returned so we could crack on with the plumbing. The big day came and Rak and Courtney did a sterling job of quickly and tidily installing the worktops to perfection, this is massively impressive considering the weight of the tops! Once polished you could really appreciate the quality of the granite, in the sunlight it looks dazzling. As a favour Rak also cut a smaller piece of matching stone to use as a base for the countersunk fireplace which was a perfect finishing touch!
If you're looking for a new worktop I cannot recommend Rak and Stone Arts highly enough. Although there are cheaper options out there you don't always get the quality product and tip-top service.
If you want perfection at a good price go to Stone Arts.

After looking around various companies for granite worktops and window cills we decided to go with Stone Arts Southampton and chose Star Galaxy granite. Right from the start Rak was very professional yet friendly guiding us through our choices and options. Even though the worktops had some very intricate curves, these were produced without any issues or delays. The granite was ready ahead of schedule and fitted entirely at our convenience. On the fitting day Rak and his team arrived on time and were courteous, effcient and worked very cleanly. The end result was our kitchen looking fantastic with the worktops being the centre piece of the room. I would highly recommend Stone Arts to anybody looking for a professional, reasonably priced job that produces beautiful results.

We were just finishing refurbishing 2 bathrooms and a cloakroom and decided to fit granite work tops & splash backs at the very last minute, just before Christmas! Visited Stone Arts and was greeted by Rakesh who gave us a wide choice of granites at competitive prices. We choose Star Galaxy. The installed granite looks fabulous having been very well cut/polished and installed. Just had my Granite Worktops Fitted by Stone Arts Ltd in Star Galaxy, you can really feel and see the quality of the granite, it looks and feels fantastic, The customer service was brilliant very simple to deal with the whole process from estimate to fitting was just so simple and quick too. Rak is a absolute pleasure to deal with easy to talk too and very honest in the information he gives. The fitting team was very polite and attention to detail was great. I had lots of estimates from other local companies but the decided with Stone Arts as they were actually more competitive than the others, IT WAS THE RIGHT CHOICE 5 *

We popped into Stone Arts worktops, after looking for a granite work top and receving numerous quotes. We spoke to Rak who was extremely helpful and knowledgable. His price was right and we went ahead and ordered the granite. Rak did the templating and the granite was fitted in four days, super service. We would recommend Stone Arts for anyone looking to have a granite or stone worktop fitted.

We contacted Stone Arts back a few months ago as we were looking to replace our kitchen along with an extention, I found Stone Arts as a fairly local trader to me, I contacted them and emailed a kitchen plan to which they came up with a quote very promptly. I also made the trip to Southampton to meet the team, which was Rakesh and his wife, who are both very nice people, the quote was very reasonable, the tops were templated and then the "Star Galaxy" granite was fitted just over a week later, we are very pleased with the result and wouldnt hesitiate to us Stone Arts Ltd again!

My wife and I have just replaced our kitchen. As we were looking around at the various types we decided to have the work tops in Granite. We popped in to Stone Arts Ltd in Southampton, the owner Rak couldn't have been more helpful and genuine. After he had shown us some samples, we decided on 'Star Galaxy', which looks fantastic.

They first templated the kitchen and about a week later they came and fitted it, they were quick tidy and polite. Rak also contacted us a week later to check if we were still happy and if we had any questions. We would strongly reccommend Stone Arts as we were thrilled with the final result!

Just picked up a 560mm x 440mm x 30mm slab of sparling galaxy granite to use as a plymph for a home theatre subwoofer. The shop was very quick in its reply to my email query and equally speedy in getting the product ready.

The stone looks and feels top notch. Polished very well, all sides but the bottom were done exceptionally. (worth noting is that although the bottom will never be exposed and seen, it was very smoothly cut as well.)

Best bit was that the price was £25 - £40 cheaper than other local quotes I've received.

Definitely recommend!
