i had the butcher & grill burger medium rare. very good meat, delicously prepared. friendly staff. nice location, iriginal idea to combine a butcher shop with a restaurant. price range £14-18. you can choose your cut of meat yourself. take bus 19 to parkgate rd. enjoy ;-)

Really delicious food and lovely staff - warm, friendly and attentive. The meat is the star of the show - I have planned next 2 visits already as there is so much on the menu that i want to eat! Mainkly steak - and the gorgeous dinosaur ribs - how i wish they sold these in the shop! Also, great risotto, fish and spaghetti with clams - seriously good cooking here. We spent more on wine than we normally do - not because it's expensive, but because we went on half price steak night and were able to splash out more on some really good wines - someone here obviously knows there stuff! Great shop packed full of treats. Thinking of moving to Parkgate Road - I'd be here for breakfast, lunch, dinner at least three times a week!

Unfortunately this place is a little out of the way for us, meaning it's a drive away and therefore limited drinking involved with dinner. That said, we often drop by on weeknights for a simple dinner and are never disappointed. Steaks, as you would imagine, are very good, but there's some good seafood choices too. If you're looking for a cheaper, but still tasty steak, try the Onglet cooked medium rare - delicious!

This is a not so hidden gem in Battersea. I’ve only been there during the day but it’s a great place to meet work people for coffee or have a working breakfast. Plus you get to drool over the cuts of meat and the deli goods on the way in.
The staff are helpful and polite which makes a real difference.

Very, very good steak. We went in on a Saturday evening without booking, which could have been a mistake, since it was quite busy and we could hardly find an open space… But then… the manager kindly made up a special table for us in a cozy nook. We were then given free glasses of champagne due to the wait…
We ordered steak with various delectable side plates of veggies and chips… We were most impressed. The steak was very well prepared and tasty. The food on the side was also very good.
It was quite expensive but with the quality of the food- it is to be expected.
This is a great place to go for a night out… It is like a modern butcher shop, a relaxed restaurant and plus they serve a variety of food options to buy over the counter…
