Just had my first experience of what is now called Revival. If your one who judges places on first impressions then this will concern you a little as first impressions are not the best, but what a great night. Party atmosphere, friendly people not excessively loud generally an all round good night. Free b4 10.00 & happy hour till 11.00 on friday & saturday so nearly as cheap as weatherspoons b4 11.00

Reflex is the kind of place best viewed through beer goggles. It's an 80s cheese club, playing everything from the Baywatch theme tune to a spot of Wham!
Essentially, it's a place to buy cheapish cocktails, dance like a loon and avoid the slightly desperate older men. Hen night heaven perhaps (and is particularly popular for those jumping on the marriage wagon second time around...)
The also offer giant sunglasses, blow up guitars and plastic microphones, which is always handy for a night out.

An absolutely fantastic spot if you want to cheese it up all night long. Possibly the best thing about it is the theme; no one judges anyone else and everyone's up for a relaxed and pleasant evening.
What with reasonable drink prices, a couple of platforms and poles for the exhibitionists among us and the decent age spread, it can be a lot of fun.
Do however expect to be hit on at least once by someone 25 years your senior. Hey, all part of the experience eh? ..eh?

A great place to dance the night away if you love 80’s cheese. Used to be one of my favourite haunts a few years ago but found that after going there for a while it got a bit samey which took the fun out of it. Also a big difference after the smoking ban as it is quite a small club it can get pretty sweaty and does slightly smell of the loo’s. Drinks are also slightly more pricey here.

My friends all love it here however their music taste is still based in the 80’s and all you want to do is drink to drown out the god foresaken noise… if you like cheese ageing men with no dress sense and love a bit of Wham head there at your peril

Good fun. Get your fill of cheesy 80s music.
bar is a bit simple and bare and could do with revamping, but hey, maybe they’re just keeping it real 80s style!
big dancefloor allows you to cut some 80s shapes.

Total cheese - great fun for a night out with friends. Love the fact you can buy inflatable guitars and other accessories behind the bar along with your drink :)

This place does what it says on the tin. It’s one big building full of cheese. From the Cherry Lambrinis on sale to the Mr T wallpaper, this place does not prioritise class. However, if you’re looking for a harmless night out and want a bit of classic sing-until-your-voice-runs-out tunes out on the dance floor, then this is for you. The drinks aren’t too expensive for a club, particularly if you go on a student night, and the pole dancing from the person you know is going to realise what a mistake it was in the morning can provide free entertainment. If not, then keep your eye out for the compulsory Madonna cone bras and star-shaped sunglasses worn by people with more money than sense.
The club attracts both the older crowd (30s+) and occasionally the students so there’s a fair mix of the two. Avoid this place like the plague during freshers week and any other promotional period. It’s not a big club and before you know it you’re pinned to the spot with no hope of escape. Maybe those Madonna boob bras can be used as weapons. If so, count me in.

if you love 80s music this is the place for you, lots of cheesy stuff too. expect a queue to get in but you will enjoy. and as usual to queue for the ladies but drinks are fairly priced and the another good thing is its not filled with kids so at the age of 30 you wont feel old as you can in some of the clubs around reading
