Is this firm still in business ? they won`t answer E-mails and their Phone number is unobtainable and has been for over 10 days now. Looks like they`ve done a runner and I`ve lost my money.

Similar experience to many. Quoted delivery times reasonable. Real delivery times at the extreme end of slow for online retailers.
Prices are great but what's the point if you end up going to the shops anyhow? The item that did turn up was too late so I'd already been out to buy it. The other item never showed up.
No warning said item was out of stock & no contact. I waited 3 weeks & then just a PayPal refund, after the stated delivery time & after product was required. No apology. No email. No explanation. Nothing.
I won't order again. So much for trying to support "real shops". Back to Amazon. Same price, no messing about.

Appreciated the free delivery option and realised this would take 7-10 days to deliver, however it took them almost 2 weeks to dispatch with no warning the item was out of stock or otherwise. Item arrived as described and price was competitive, but it just took too long with no communications to let me know about a delay and the reasons why.

REally very disappointed. 3 weeks ago filled in oreder for kids rugby boots. Received e nmail confirming order and payment received but also e mail saying payment still to be made.
Waited a week and called. Prosport said they couldnt help the confirm order email and payment had not been received. So I paid again. Despite the delay they said only way for faster delivery to pay extra.
Phoned a week and a bit later as link on order did not show tracking on delivery - they assured me that boots would be on way and had to wait till 10 working days had passed.
Phioned at 11 working days - they said boots seemed to be missing from their order from the supplier and had not been despatched at all. THey called back to say they do not have boots to send.
Unbelievable. I need to call back tomorrow to either pick another product or 'whatever'.
I have my 10 year old wondering what his dad is doing.
Whatever happened to customer service - or at least soem consideration. Would be nice if they made the effort to call me. Order no SAN261012398, tel no on order - but dont hold out much hope now - doubltess I will have to wrestle with them for eithe rmy money back or soem alternative product - god knows when that wil arrive.

Item was despatched 22 days after taking payment, which would be fine if any communication on back order was made, it was not.
My enquiries as to the status of my order were ignored.
Item arrived in a different colour choice than I had specified.
Waste of time, use another retailer.

Overall had a good experience. Easy to navigate site, lots of selection, excellent communication with regards to the ordering process.
Only had 3 "issues":
1. We were unaware of the high "tax" that was added to items
2. When the order was delayed due to a lack of staff (which is fully acceptable) we did not receive any correspondence from prosportuk to inform us our order may be delayed and thus a player who had ordered a top had moved country by the time the top had arrived.
3. Although we were told it would be advisable for someone to be home when the order was delivered (during the day) the items were left in our open porch as opposed to being left with a neighbour...fortunately the items were not taken despite being on display to anyone on the street

Very fast, efficient service but basic packaging. However, annoyed to find that while the item was priced online at £4.99 with free postage, when it arrived it had a large price tag of £3.99 on the front. Clearly items are marked up online to cover postage. Rather deceptive, would prefer upfront postal cost.

DON'T MAKE THE MISTAKE I MADE - DO NOT USE PRO SPORT UK
I felt it only right to review this shop after what can only be described as a very unfortunate experience. Believe me don't make the mistake I made and don't order with pro sport uk.com.
I recent;y purchased a pair of sports trainers from prosportuk, having been initially tempted by their low cost prices and several apparently ok reviews.
Upon receiving them I was disappointed to find the size 10's I'd ordered were actually sized closer to a size 11.
I quickly called to arrange a return and following their info I downloaded the printable returns label and also… incredibly….a form to fill out, for which I had to give full details on the trainers….odd considering their system is totally automated so a complete waste of my time. I've ordered with a range of online companies (including many online sports companies) and this was certainly the first I'd ever encountered that had requested this.
Anyway upon entering the information, I printed out the form and label and took it to my local post office. Upon where I was shocked to find it would cost me over £5 to return them! I found this amazing considering so many other similar companies offer free returns. Even Play.com! Something the contact I'd spoken to at Pro Sport had kindly not informed me.
I quickly called them back to complain and I was treated to 'well we don't offer that' and 'it's in our Terms and conditions' something which to be fair is ridiculous when it's in the small print at the back of the site, and definitely not the norm.
There's many, many other sport clothing companies on the net, with (dare I say it) a hell of a lot better customer service. So again, don't make the mistake I made AND DO NOT USE PRO SPORT UK!

We also offer a 10 day no quibble guarantee for customers that are unhappy with their purchase or they just dont fit, as long as the goods are returned in their original condition. In these circumstances it is the customers responsibility to ensure that the goods arrive safely back to us. All we ask is that the postage costs are paid for by the customer as clearly stated in our terms and conditions.

Tburgess, 30 May 2012:As you can see from the response above they also don’t really respond directly with comments . Their free delivery was never the issue..simply that they charged me to return the item…sigh
Also upon chasing the refund on the item (which took several days to go through) all my emails were ignored until I received an automated ‘hi would you like to review our service’ email from them..amazing. I replied slightly annoyed and astounded they’d ignored all my others but seen fit to send me that – I received a response later that day.
Believe me like I said, don’t waste your time using this company and find one that actually sorts returns for free and contacts customers back when they make enquiries. In this day and age it’s really not much to ask for.

I ordered some boxing gloves from Pro Sport and after my package did not arrive, I called the Customer Services. The girl I spoke to was fantastic and extremely helpful and polite and within a few days, another pair of the gloves I had ordered were sent out, which I did receive.
I was very impressed with the service (and price of the gloves in question, as shopped around) and would definitely recommend Pro Sport to any shoppers looking for sports kit.

Shop has been shut for 2 weeks, A4 signs on door. Suspect has gone bust but cannot confirm.
Thanks for that info. Definitely looks like we have all lost our money or goods. I will transfer the info onto the ProSport review site.
