First off: This bar is non smoking, and men actually respect that. This seems to be the first bar I can go to without having to wash my clothes upon return to home. The bar open most nights at 22h00 but really gets going after 23h00.

This is a men's bar. Mostly bears, but others do show up. There will always be some drama or chatter, if you wish to partake, there will be plenty of men for you to chat with. If chat is not on your mind, you could find that the real fun occurs in the central area which is dimly lighted. No chat is necessary to find some to play with. Condoms are available at the bar.

Tuesday can be a very busy night with the 2-4-1 drinks.

Woof has a great staff and the location is nice. It truly is a recommendable bar for bears.

Unfortunately, this is not always the case for costumers that don’t fit the preferred bear type. They are frequently looked upon halfway critically and halfway sneeringly by most of the regulars, whose favourite pastime seems to be to badmouth the newcomers, sometimes even right in front of them because they (seemingly) don’t understand german.

If you think you are a “true bear” or if you are going together with your guys, Woof is a great stop and you will most certainly enjoy your time there. Though from personal experience (also witnessing the chatter about others) I have to put into question the advertised openness for guys that like bears, but are no bears themselves. In the end, this is a fetish bar through and through with all the goods and the bads.
