Brilliant value £3.95 (during the week, more for sunday) for a carvery, meat was lovely and a nice range of veg. Choice of beef, gammon or turkey or you could have some of all. You could have as much veg as you want and go back up for more veg. Good service, lovely clean pub. Well decorated and really comfortable. Plenty of room and young families in there for carvery tea.
Well worth a visit and I will be going back with my family.
formally known as the north star this pub has had a complete overhaul, tastefully done, food is a cavery £5.00 a head other option are available but veggies take note not too much choice
but meat lover are in for a treat, fresh veg, generous portions of meat, its cheaper to eat out if its just the two of you than to cook it. Self service/waitress depends on how busy they are .
