I would live and die in Vibes and Scribes! An excellent range of new and secondhand books, and some remaindered. Price-wise they’re reasonable, and the staff don’t hunt you if you spend ages browsing the shelves. The Lavitts Quay branch has an excellent range of art books, while the secondhand section of the Bridge Street branch has literary and non-fiction titles as well as a fairly wide range of sci-fi and crime novels.

Easily Cork’s best book & music shop. Huge secondhand selection of books and music, all very reasonably priced, as well as a great selection of new books.

I really like the huge, extensive selection of travel books which always have the destination I’m heading too. Great photography and art books at discount prices. Large children’s section near the back also.
