10 reviews of Farmfoods in English
Went in here many times during my times at uni, often good prices for branded products. Small shop and often lengthy queues.
Farmfoods in city centre is cheap for milk and the odd box of frozen stuff when we feel like being lazy or just pigging out. The queues in the day are massive though and they’ve only got space for a few tills.
I sometimes feel like I’m going to get into a brawl with some of the people in the queue there though. I’m not trying to be a snob but it isn’t exactly upmarket. I’ve tried to reach for some bread and had a guy in Burberry with a wispy moustache go for me for 'tryn’t push’n!’.

Farmfoods in leven is located near to the bus station the major down point to its location is that it is a busy car park in a one way system and at times it can get pretty busy and a nightmare to park reverse, find a space etc…
Inside the shop its quite big long aisles and our shop doesn’t feel too busy until you get to the checkouts.
The food inside farmfoods is very cheap although some things are cheaper else where. They have loads nice biscuits and cakes. Loads of microwave frozen meals and frozen meat cheap quality toilet rolls, tins of juice at 25p each multipacks of crisps from £1 and cheap frozen veg which is often 2 for £1.
The staff are nice and if they is a queue they often shout for another staff member.
I personally think farmfoods is good for bits and pieces but not for a whole food shop.

Farmfoods is brilliant value, there are so many good deals and you can often find frozen products for less than half the price they would be in the supermarkets. A couple of times I’ve even had tubs of Ben and Jerry’s ice cream for £1 a tub!! They’re usually closer to £4 each!
As well as the frozen food, they also stock plenty of jars and tins, soft drinks, crisps and biscuits, but sometimes these aren’t that cheap, so you do have to keep an eye on the prices.
The only downside is that the shop is really small, and when it’s busy (which is most of the time) it can be very difficult to get round as the aisles are quite narrow. But if that helps to keep their prices down, I’m not complaining!

FarmFoods is Located in the Centre of Derby.
The offers that they do in store are brilliant and if you need to do some cheap shopping this is certainly the place to visit. They do some great offers on some big brand names such as coke etc so it is not all cheaper brands.
This is a perfect shopping place for a student, especially those that like their vodka red bulls before hitting the town. Although they do Red Bull, the offer they do is 4 cans of Red Rooster for £1 which is great as I can’t tell too much difference and prefer it some times.

Farmfoods is located near the Market Hall in Derby, away from the Westfields Centre & more towards the Cathedral Quarter. The major disadvantage of the store is its size as its very small! However, I only go in there for odd things so its not too much of an issue. Food is much cheaper than most places, however, like most shops, you really have to watch out for products that aren’t ‘loss leaders’.
I’ve never really had a chance to test customer service in the shop as I’ve always been able to find items easy. However, with long queues at the kiosk I’m guessing it is quite poor. However, you don’t really expect it in a place like Farmfoods.
