Review of Tesco Stores from 4 September 2012
I've used the Tesco Mickleover in the last year or so when I've been shopping with my now ex-partner (and friend.)

The store is beginning to look tired. I believe plans are underway to improve the outside appearance of the store so I only hope Tesco refresh the inside, too.

As it's not one of the more larger stores it's a lot easier to find your way around although stock availability leaves a lot to be desired sometimes.

The self-serve checkouts can be a nuisance if they crash on you. Despite an email to Tesco Customer Service who deny any issues with their systems be warned-if it crashes you could be there a while if it's one of their more busier periods.

Three/Five is an appropriate score for now, when they refurbish the store I'll amend my views.

What I like about this particular Tesco is that it isn't too big. I'm fed up of getting lost and not being able to find anything in the larger Tesco stores so this one is perfect. If you are in a rush, there are self service checkouts meaning you can be in and out quickly.

The staff are always very helpful and the store is laid out very well. Overall, impressive.

this was my first tesco back in the early ninties since then i have visited hundreds more. its rather quaint but badly designed. staff are friendly and supportive of special needs shoppers and have staff always willing to help. but dont go at night if you want access to all the shop due to stocking the shelves.

i think that this tesco is a good size offering a wide range of products. i think it is great for food shopping but also for cloths and electircal goods as well. The staff are always friendly and are helpfull if you can not find something that you are looking for. The store, cafe and toilets are always clean and i always see cleaners around when i am in there. my mum has started using the tesco shopping online sceem which she is very pleased with as the food that has been picked my staff in store is always good quality. The shopping lawys araives on time and the staff that deliver it are also very helpfull. I think its good how tesco offer a cheep range of products (tesco value) a medium range (tesco brand) and a more expensive but higher quality range (tesco finest) as it helps giev more variety. overall i think that this store and other tesco stores are clean and offer adsacly what you want from a super maket ans the staff are very friendly and helpfull.

Tesco is alrge chain of supermarkets which is rapidly expanding, tesco is one of the best supermarkets in the UK and offer a wide selection of goods, the pricewatch scheme is very good, and helps you know i your saving money compared to the other two big supermarkets asda and sainsburys. Tesco have many offers which are very tempting, the 5p off fuel is a great one, and i will continue to shop here as it is less clostrethobic than asda.

Tesco’s is located in Mickleover which is around a 5/10 minute drive from the Derby city centre.

It is meant to be a 24/7 supermarket, although I’ve never been late. The carpark is quite small, so parking can sometimes be an issue, but the supermarket itself is large and items are easy to find. As you go in, stationary, electonic items and gifts can be found on the left.

Tescos in general is a cheap supermarket and offers are easily found at the end of isles. As you come out, there is a slope which is handy if you have a large and heavy shopping trolley.

Tesco is good when it comes to quality of products, however they tend to overprice some foods and beauty products. The staff are nice. If your buying something that is, otherwise they can be awfully rude and incompetent.
