Atlas Cars

It was my first time using atlas cars. I have tried to use there IPhone app, it doesn't respond as it can't find the address or it's just frizzes and doesn't work at all. When I called first time on the 9th of Jan and made a booking for 10:40pm driver was very professional pleasant and had a very clean car. On my second booking on the 10th of jan at 1:15 am I was told the fee will be £17 when I have arrived to the destination I was told it is £19?... Driver was very rude and intimidating from the start, was using his phone while on a job, very dirty car with very strong smell of cigarets. When I was coming out of the car he was talking to some one on the phone, he said to the person: " let me get rid of her and I'll speak to you then" Horrible experience will never use them again! Same price as Addison Lee but service even worse!

I use to be a regular user of this company, however, several months ago, I had a very bad experience with them. I contacted them to let them know what happened but have had no real resolution. Someone left me a message to contact the office regarding the situation and I did return the call, however no one ever called me back.

A couple of months ago, I'd organised a taxi for a pick up in hackney. I was told the wait was approximately 30 mins which I agreed to. After waiting for over 30 mins I'd decided to go with my friend in her taxi before going home to my place. It was very late and freezing cold!!  However, FIRST I called their office to cancel the taxi which they said was fine and not a problem. If the office had told me the taxi was 5 mins away, I would've waited. However the office said it was ok to cancel. Approximately 10 mins later I receive a call telling me the taxi was 10 mins away. I explained that I called up to cancel and that I'd gone elsewhere now. The person on the phone said I'd have to pay a £10 cancellation fee which I refuse as the office had originally said it was fine to cancel. When I arrived home eventually a strange man started to approach me and then started to follow me for over a couple of blocks which I strongly suspect was the taxi driver! Granted I have no proof of this, but it did strike me as coincidental that a person made a direct path towards me as soon as I exited from a taxi and followed me for a couple of blocks. To be honest, this terrified me most of all.

Since this was such an unpleasant experience I've not use your company for a few weeks. I then decided to try the company again (thinking maybe it was my imagination), however, when I called, I was told I owe the driver £10. So I have since stopped using this company altogether. I use to promote this company to my friends, however, I now tell everyone I know about my experience and they’ve also boycotted the company.

I am a person who is very paranoid about taking ANY kind of taxi – whether is a mini cab or a black cab – because I know many cab drivers work 12 hour shifts which can jeopardize the passenger’s life, however after my friend recommended a driver called Ziggy from Atlas I got hooked and just use Atlas! Ziggy is nice because he opens the door for me, when we go to the airport he picks up my luggage, and always with a big smile, he knows all the shortcuts of London! I just won’t give 5 stars because many times when I request him, he’s not available! If ALL the drivers were like Ziggy I would give 5 stars for this company for sure!
