Giacomo Puccini 1858 – 2008 is the title of the major exhibition which the Maestro’s home town dedicates to the Composer upon the 150th Anniversary of his birth. Lucca is rightly proud of its famous son, and traces Puccini’s association with the town from his birth to death. A fascinating collection of old photographs, musical scores and other memorabilia. Lucca is one of three centres organising the 150-year celebrations, the others being Torre del Lago and Celle di Pescaglia.
