Roughsedge Guest House

Stayed here with a friend who was from out of town.
Needless to say, it was an extremely BAD idea.

Broken windows in bathroom, carpets sticky, furniture very very cheap and tacky, every window was dirt filthy, bird poop on windows, it looked like it had been there for years, flaky paint....Terrible!

We were greeted with a snarl from the women who was checking us in, only to be told my room will cost an extra £75 on top of what i had been told it would cost (2 nights) even though when i booked it i was told it would only cost £50 a night...Therefore i had no other option than to get a cab into the town centre to take out more money.

Oh and NOT to forget, there were MANY rules! And just for clarification here, the only thing we were told that was NOT allowed was smoking (understandable)....BUT WOWZA did we get yelled at for eating food in our room. This women, you would swear she was going to blow a gasket, as she is telling us off, she firmly points to rules on a board that you CANNOT even see, being that it's behind you, on a wall AND not at eye level or even big/medium sized lettering.
We were not even told there was a rule board!

THE one and ONLY thing my friend enjoyed, was the breakfast.
