TRIPLE111 Cars ? TOO BAD. TOO GOOD to CON honest car buyers.

The F*****n Ni*er (Thief)
They OPERATE from House @ 99 Evesham Road, London N11 2RR. Just underneath the Picadilly Line train bridge on telford road. They only operate by telephone appointments as if thay have a showroom on Brownlow Road, Boundsgreen N11 2DE. The Address on the Web as Avenue Road is false location according to the postcode. All the cars are purchased from British Car Auction on A10 Enfield and then resold anywhere on street. It could be in front of your doorstep.

My advice is that Please don't buy any cars from them because 100% you will regret for rest of your life.

The local council is monitoring on them by hiring a private detective called HAWKEYE.

I would be happy to see him burn inside his own cars. Who ever does it will be rewarded.

TRIPLE111---What a bunch of W***ers! Like a lot of genuine people I saw a Citroen Picasso on their website that was a good spec and priced sensibly. Like a fool.... I left a £75 deposit on the car as I live 200 miles from London and said I would view/ purchase the car on a Sunday, "I will have the car ready for you" said Roy or rather 'Tosser Roy'. Guess what after a 200 mile trip, no Roy---no car---no premises...Nothing!! DON'T GET CAUGHT!!!! AVOID TRIPLE111 LIKE THE PLAGUE!! If I ever met Roy, he would never be able to walk again and I do keep MY promises. PS. Autotrader should be ashamed with having F***ers like them advertising their crap, non existent cars!!!!

Review of Tripleone 111 from 22 July 2012

Review about the apalling services of Tripleone 111 used car shysters... sorry, 'dealers'.  These guys deserve a MINUS amount of stars.  (Note to qype – great site, and I wish I’d found these other reviews before I wasted my time going to view a car, but you should have a Zero Stars option!)

Had been impressed by their website claims and went to view a Ford Focus advertised with 69,000 miles on the clock and with full MOT, recent service, showroom condition, etc. etc.  Same story – called to check it was still available, told to call when we knew what time we’d be arriving and was directed to the Maidstone Road address (was told 180 Maidstone Road, N11 2JS) to find a line of cars along a residential street - all open - for the punters coming to view.  A tall, slim rather attractive young black man (who never gave us his name) spotted us looking like potential punters and pointed us to it down the road saying ‘it’s open for you to look at it’.

Spent 15 minutes, while he was talking to another guy, doing the 'before startup/test drive' checks I’d sensibly printed off from website guides to buying a used car safely.  A few obvious things wrong (no rear view mirror – found it broken in the glove box; bit of passenger wing mirror broken off, a stain on the back seat, musty damp smell from boot, some minor scratches & dents) but for the right price nothing that appeared obviously awful.

Time to start it up.  Tried all the electrics/lights/wipers – all seemed OK.  No obvious bad engine noises.  Time for the test drive.  I pointed out that a bit of the wing mirror was broken off – will he fix it? No. The rear view mirror is broken and unfixable. Will he get a new one put on? No. “You can get one cheap from a breaker’s yard or something.”  I queried a stain on back seat. Could have been a drink spilled (as no sign of mould or smell) though there was a sort of damp smell from inside the boot. Any idea what the stain’s from? No, he’s never seen or driven the car before, it came to him 6 hours ago. Well, it’s been on the website longer than that, I said. “We buy cars from other dealers so they send the info so we can put it on the website but can’t sell the car until it turns up.”  I pointed out it had done 15,000 miles more than it said on the website.  No reply.  Already wary but as we were there we might as well drive it and see as the website said recently serviced and long MOT...

To a layman (or in my case, lay-woman!) it seemed to be driving OK except there was a light on that I thought probably shouldn’t be… “What’s this light that hasn’t gone off” “Don’t know, can’t see it.” “It’s like an exclamation mark with a jagged circle round it, left hand side of dashboard.” He didn’t know. “So,” I said, “am I right in thinking that basically whatever I find wrong, like the broken mirrors, or this warning light, you’re not actually going to fix before I buy it, if I want to buy it.” “Yeah.”

Did some testing the brakes stops and it seemed OK and wasn’t pulling to the side, so drove round looking for a safe place to really put my foot down to test the acceleration.  Oh dear - there was a bad clunking sound and a judder. Obviously gearbox related.  I pointed this out to him and he didn’t answer.  It carried on driving OK-ish but clearly something was wrong. He directed me back round the block to where we'd started from and told me to stop by the kerb.  Oh, I haven’t tested reverse and parking yet, I thought. So I go forward to reverse into a space.  NO REVERSE GEAR!! “I don’t seem to have reverse...” Nothing. He didn’t say a word!  I tried it again. Nothing.  “So, if you’re not going to fix anything and it doesn’t go into reverse... I don’t think I’ll be wanting to buy this, do you?” He just said ‘excuse me a minute’ got out of the car and went over to another car and punter who was waiting for him and just ignored us (two friends were with me, thank goodness, but it would have been really scary to have been there with him on my own!) Clearly unphased at the car being totally unfit for purpose, he just came back, took the keys back from me, got in the car and drove it away (forwards, obviously!)

He’d said all the documentation was with him but we didn’t get that far so I don’t know what it would have said, though I would never have bought the car without having everything there that should have been there.  (There are websites which explain what you need to safely buy a used car – find them, print out their guides – NEVER buy a used car without doing so.)   Tripleone 111 say they take all cards, and I would have only paid by credit card (and therefore the card company would have been liable to reimburse me if the car had turned out not to be fit for purpose and Tripleone had failed to return my money – always use a credit card if you can.)

So, in a nutshell, Tripleone 111 are CLEARLY a bunch of crooks, knowingly selling cars likely to break down within minutes of being driven away, and I’m very angry that despite many people over the past year clearly having complained to AutoTrader and Trading Standards (I will be doing so too), they are still being allowed to trade and doing the same thing.  DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME LOOKING AT ANY CARS THEY ADVERTISE.

I wish that I had done my research before buying from this thief! The car I was going to purchase was listed as a 02 plate on auto trader but turned out to be a Y reg I also purchased a car from this scum the car was unlocked when I went to have a look. He was so reluctant to let us have a test drive after driving the vehicle I felt that it was a good at and purchased it. After driving the car on the A406 smoke started speuwing out of the engine and the car came to a stand still. I was then moved to a safety bay by police I then contacted the MOFO perry! He told me everything will be fine tomorrow untill now I have not heard from him Please of someone can give me his address I will be overjoyed this thief stole my 650 PLEASE HELP ME

He buys all the cars from British Car Auction in Enfiled A10 and than sells it on the street like vegetable. I am a hawk eye who is marking on him, so i can see him burn inside his own car !!!

I wish we had seen this website first - same problem as everyone else.  Showroom condition car, runs as new and breaks down within days.  Promises of money back and pick up of car but no show and then no response to phone calls.  DO NOT USE THEM!!  Have sent a recorded letter which doesn't seem to have been delivered but we did copy it to Autotrader.  Will now be taking it further with Trading Standards and Small Claims Court  I don't want to give a star but have to to be able to post review.

Review of Tripleone 111 from 23 April 2012

Begrudgingly had to award this man even 1 star – of which he does not deserve.

Unfortunately, myself and my partner fell for his lies as we stupidly did not read up on the reviews before hand. We came across a car he had advertised on Autotrader, assumed he was legit, contacted him further to see whether he was interested in a part-exchange of my partners car in return for one of his own.
We arranged to meet and discuss over the options. After 2 and a half hours of travelling to the address listed on the internet for Tripleone111, we arrived and there was nothing but houses and flats in a desolate area of London. We called this man further and he told us that he was unsure as to why the address was listed as it was online and directed us to Maidstone Road where he would meet us with the car. Reluctantly, we did so.
We arrived at Maidstone Road to find the car there, unlocked, but no dealer. Again, my partner contacted him and we were told that he would be there within 5 minutes, the car was unlocked in order for us to have a look around it and that he would be with us soon.
Twenty minutes later, he arrived. Took one look at my partners car and seemed keen then directed us down a road that we could take the car for a test drive. During this time, we later found out, that he had already taken photographs of the car we were interested in part-exchanging, even though no deal had been made.
When we returned from the test drive, we made a deal and bought the car.
The dealer, who’s name he would not disclose, fled the scene quickly after the money exchanged hands which set a few alarm bells ringing. We were then aware that the full tank of fuel he had assured us, was not present, neither were the numerous specifications he had made regarding the vehicle on his website so naturally, we were rather disgruntled.
As we approached the motorway, we realised that the car would not go higher than 50mph and was continuously revving – the clutch was slipping.

We tried for a further 3 hours to gain contact with the dealer and when we eventually spoke to him, he assured us that he would pay for the damage as it was no fault of our own. Following more contact the next day to arrange a booking, our calls were ignored, busy toned or answered and left sitting there to hear the background noise (this lasted for up to half an hour at one point!!!)
He AGREED to give us our original car and th emoney paid to him back so we travelled 2 and a half hours to Enfield, contact attempted on the way but failed. Calls ended and busy tone given once again.
We arrived at 12pm .. At 6PM!!!! — We, by chance, found the dealers house and he was more than shocked to see us. We confronted him and were told with a smirk, YOUR CAR HAS BEEN SOLD! We were furious and our compensation? £30 for our trouble, nothing towards the clutch that will cost near on £200. Dealer told us he could not contribute towards the clutch as it is only £30 to fit and repair. Bulls**t!
“Contact Mr Clutch” .. We did, £229.99.

Disgusted with the company, the treatment we recieved and the ‘compensation’ we recieved. We are taking matters further with Trading Standards and it has also been passed on to the police (as we had not even signed the car over to him when he sold it!!)

Please feel free to contact me via this site with any questions etc.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!

Thankfully, I read the reviews on this site the night befor i was to view a car this so called trader had to offer.
He’s clearly still up to his tricks, all of the cars are photographed on the roadside. Why would a reputable trader do that?
After reading the reviews, to be sure I said i was interested in another car he had advertised and suggested meeting at his business adress intead. We’d agreed to meet on a sunday so him bringing the car home with him on the saturday night for sunday was at first mutually convienient. Funnily enough, I’m still awaiting a reply!
It’s one thing buying a car on the auto trader from a private seller, its another to be under the assumption you are buying from a trader with waranty attached as advertised when he’s clearly not able to honor one, i think its clear to assume..
I have the next week off and will enjoy devoting a few hours of my time contacting Consumer Direct, his local council and HMRC. I would also urge anyone else who has had dealings with this crook to do the same please, as the more complaints they have, the more likely they are to do something about it unfortunately.
Perry Gray, you give a whole new meaning to the infamous ‘Second Hand car Salesman’! I can’t wait for karma to come down on you like a ton of bricks.
Thanks to everyone here who has previously commented, you have saved me money, i have no doubt!

Much the same as everyone else. No problem contacting them when your after a car. I went and got one, once again met on the side of the road. Not being a mechanic I had a quick look around. The car was a bit marked up etc. Still Stupid as I am I purchased the vehicle. It got me 12-15 miles down the road and steam started spewing out the engine. It was so bad I had to get recovered home. As my phone had died I couldnt contact them till I got home. I have sent emails, texts and phone calls till blue in the face with no reult at all. On the couple of occasions I have got through to them its been ring back tomorrow and speak to Roy. The again no answer the next day. Iv now been in touch with consumer direct who will action it with trading standards . A very bad investment from the worst company iv ever dealt with

First of ll i would like t say AVOID these people at all costs. As this will COST YOU if you buy from them.
We brought a car from them and the very next day we had a problem with it. We recieved no reciept for the sale of the car and when trying to contact them they say the fault is not covered by the so called warranty.
This not being sattisfactory i called again and again only to have the phone hung up or my calls avoided altogether.

They have not fixed the problem or even attempted to make it right.

I have been in contact with trading standards and i will not rest until this so called company(which it obviously is not) is not trading anymore and ripping people off.

Once i again i can not stress how much you should STAY AWAY from these people.

So called dealer… Refused to refund or even fix car after problems found on same day bought. One tyre burst the next day (side wall). After repeated hangups was told it is my right to take them to court, and it is the risk they take… No listed address, so can’t take to court. Consumer direct have been contacted. Totally not what they described on Autotrader website, we travelled 2 hours to see this car which was apparently..‘showroom condition’. We couldn’t find the exact address that they stated so I called the arrogant twat and he told us to wait outside an address on Maidstone Road and he’d meet us there with the car….after an hour of waiting the prick turned up in the car.

No aplogies, no explanation. We took one look at the car and realised it was not the same car that had been photographed….the car was filty inside, there were even chips on the back seat along with (empty) drugs baggies down the sides of the seats. The bonnet had faded, rust along the wheel arches. How stupid did we feel??

Once we had told him we weren’t interested he just jumped back in the car and sped off….obviously we were willing it to blow up at this point!!

Complete scammers….DO NOT USE THESE GUYS!!!!

I would not bother with this dealer why they are allowed to be on autotrader is beyond me.
We travelled up on the off chance and went to the address stated there is no dealership not even a Garage or someone working from their own home.
We telephoned the number and when we asked for more info we got told it was in another road nothing there either.
I think this guy stores these cars somewhere and drives them to meet you.
I would stay well away

After travelling for 2 hours my husband got to the station and phoned them to pick him up as arranged. They told him to meet them just up the road so that he could see the car. He arrived and stayed sitting in the car while Imy husband looked around it. It was nowhere near as good as they advertised it. Showroom condition???????? We've scrapped better!! Paintwork was peeling off.
The interior wasn't even the same car as in the advertisement.
Needless to say, he walked away and had to buy another ticket to get home, so this timewaster cost us even more money.
It was advertised as a Volvo 850 2.0 CD, so I checked with DVLA and they say it is a Volvo 2.4S.
DO NOT TOUCH THIS COMPANY. THEY ARE NOT TO BE TRUSTED!!!
i will be reporting them to Auto Trader and trading standards.

Please beware when buying car from this dealer.

There adverts are misleading on autotrader and they lie over the phone.

Me and my husband drove 2 hours to see a car. We were told it had Sony CD player and the bodywork was 'PERFECT'.. yeah my foot perfect.. scratches all over the car... It only had a basic cd player which was originally with the car.

The guy who brought the car was in a miserable mood. He just stood there, did not know jack about the car.. any questions we asked.. he said 'i dont know, do you want the car or not?'

and when i emailed them to give feedback.. this is what i receieved back:

''HE LIKE SO MANY DECENT MEMBERS OF SOCIETY WAS PROBABLY DISGUSTED BY GREEDY, STUPID, STINKING, VERMIN...PUT SIMPLY YOU...FUCK OFF''

it was disguisting service!!

Please dont waste your time ... buy somewhere else!!!
