Kiel, the capital of the northern state of Germany. I have been living here for 31 years and I can only hard to imagine anywhere else to live. The opportunities which arise through access to the Baltic Sea are varied. Sailing, swimming, canoeing or simply take the ferry from one neighborhood to go to the other. With the cruise ships to get to Scandinavia and further out into the world.
