Cafe Esprit

If you fancy an awesome breakfast that is a bit pricey but not really expensive, go there. They offer a wide range of breakfast – it comes in all shapes and sizes: from American to Italian. The food is very well prepared and extremely yummy. If you haven’t been there yet for a morning delight, go ahead. Very nice staff and service too!

I have come to the conclusion that the cafe Esprit is still one of my favourite cafes in Göttingen. In the summer you can sit outside in the garden / yard under the trees there.

The coffees and lemonades they do I really like! I find it relaxing there. The interior inside is quite nice with the black and white tiles and leather sofas. There is a piano.

I enjoyed my breakfast here, too. You can eat salads, soup and pasta. This is not special but okay.

In the evenings I would recommend a cocktail! Staff seems to be students from the university.
I sometimes go in, order a “großer Milchkaffee”, read a magazine here or prepare for a lecture!
