Grand Millennium Sukhumvit, Bangkok

We spent the first part of our recent honeymoon in this hotel, and were offered an upgrade to a room on the 27th floor (for a fee) - the views from the room were amazing! First class service from the staff, and the cleanliness of the room was never an issue.

We only used the bar once, taking the offer of '2-for-1' cocktail hours, but saw some of the great live entertainment in the lobby at night. Breakfast was not great when it came to cooked foods, but cereals, fruit, and juice were on offer and it was good to sample some of the local produce. Lunch/dinner was had in other parts of the city so we can't really comment on the hotel restaurants.

The hotel was great for our stay, and a 5-minute walk from the Asok Skytrain station and Metro station meant we could get around the city very quickly (approx. 10 minutes to Central/Siam). Traffic very busy around the area so had to be very careful crossing the road!

What isn't advertised in the travel agent is the close proximity to Soi Cowboy - bear in mind this was our honeymoon! - however, if you are looking for a different way to spent your night and enjoy good cheap food and beer, it's worth a try!

Super beautiful hotel of to class in Bangkok. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, perfect service, great breakfast, central location directly at the MRT/Skytrain Stations Sukhumvit/Asoke so you can reach any district easily. The small terrace is interesting with a long pool on the 6th level (!), very stylish just like the whole, only recently opened, hotel. A small wellness area with sauna and steam bath complete the spa area. Recommendable in any case if you don't need anything too cheap.
