Well,when we aren’t guzzling cocktails we do enjoy a good glass (now you know I mean half a bottle!) of wine with a meal or just in good company.
We discovered this company quite by accident through a mail shot and have now virtually completly switched our wine purchases to them from Sainsbury’s. This is unusual for me since they have a system by which they send you a case of 6 white and 6 red that they choose on the understanding that if,for ANY reason you don’t like a bottle you can return it and it will be replaced. To date we have had no reason to take them up on this and have,in fact ordered extra bottles of wine that we would otherwise not have come across but have enjoyed immensely.
Like all other companies they now bombard us with a regular supply of glossy brochures offering special deals on premier cru wines and fine champagnes as well as bin end sales and special offers from around the world..but you can easily say no and so easily be tempted by the quality and price of some of the packages on offer.
Whatever else your mystery case will arrive four times a year to be eagerly unpacked and stored wherever you call your “wine cellar” to be picked off and enjoyed.
