Ah! La Maison! Au campagne! I stayed here Easter 2007 with a great group of friends and we had a fantastic week of er…drinking, eating and sun bathing.
It’s a huge house, maybe 40 m long, which sleeps up to around 18, so for our group of 12 it was a great size. Peak prices come in at around £2000 for the week which is not bad at all, and they do offer annex options, as the building splits into three separate sections.
Caignac is a small french hamlet - so you’ll need hire car, a sat nav and big trip to the hypermarché! There’s some pretty towns nearby if you want to go exploring, but equally the tennis court, pool & games room could keep you occupied all week.
Recommended for friends that want to get away from it all and spend some decent time breathing in the country air, sharing (many) bottles of red and each other’s company.
