We stumbled across this well appointed restaurant by mistake and misread a sign that we thought said ‘one main course and wine, €14’. We thought this sounded good for what looked like a very good restaurant so went in. It was only once we got in and settled that we realised the offer was not one main course, but a taster menu of four each in succession! So we learnt our first lesson: my girlfriend, who speaks fluent Spanish, should always read signs rather than me, who does not! While not huge, each course was still a good size, and by the end of the meal we had consumed a large amount of very, very good food, ranging from an avocado salad to rabbit and cod.

We pooled resources and shared our wine from a carafe, and so all in all we received a four course meal, with wine, for €14 per person! This was incredible value, given that the restaurant was mentioned in the Michelin guide (it had a sticker in the door) and that the food was of fantastic quality – I would not be surprised if the Michelin mention was in the Bib Gourmand or even One Star category. Anyway, enough conjecture, this is a great restaurant and you will not be disappointed should you choose to eat here.
