Pizza Express Restaurants

Just ordered a couple of pizzas to take away.

Took almost an hour of waiting, and then theybarrived stone cold!

The staff there were not interested at all, when we complained they said the waitress had forgotten!

you can’t go wrong with Pizza Express. The food is consistently good and there are often half price deals in the papers. The children’s menu is first class, my children love the fact they get three courses and “coffee” to finish. The children’s meal is priced at £5.99 and for that you get doughballs to start with garlic butter, my children gobble these up, then you can choose either pizza or pasta, this is followed by a lovely ice-cream and the baby coffee. You also get pencils, an activity sheet and some stickers. My daughter loves the fact there are flowers on the table.

For me, Pizza Express is a much better place for pizza than the big chains such as Pizza Hut. The ambience and surroundings are nicer for example. It does not feel mass market. It is nice that you can see the chefs at work cooking the pizzas as well. The pizzas themselves could be bigger if truth be told. They only come in 1 size and are thin crust as opposed to being deep pan. That said, the choice of pizzas was excellent. And order dough balls to start. They rock! The prices were reasonable and the service was fairly swift and very very friendly.

For good value and easy going out, Pizza Express is always a good choice. The venue at Brentwood is no exception, and every time I have visited I have been impressed by quick service and friendly staff. The menu has a range of Italian foods - pizza, pasta and a really nice range of salads. Desserts are (too) appealing! There are often 2 for 1 vouchers in newspapers so keep your eyes peeled. At full price, a meal for 2 with wine is about £30, so very reasonable. Decent range of wines. In particular I recommend the Padana pizza - goats cheese, spinach and caramelised onions. Delicious! Great range of pizzas for all types.

As always, high levels of service and quality at this chain. Busy restaurant but always room as on two levels. Staff are friendly and efficient. Orders taken promptly and food delivered in a timely fashion. Ideal for family meals out.

The Brentwood Pizza Express is great. I love all Pizza Express’s to be honest but this one is up there with the best. I love the hot pizza’s and there lovely dough balls with melted butter on them. The thing is with Pizza Express is that it’s very good value for money and that is what it is all about. For 2 of us with a drink, starter and main normally costs about £30 so not bad at all.

I love this resturant!! American Hot is there best pizza!!! They come in a big sizes and not over price!!! Garlic dough balls are also a very big MUST HAVE!!! They are delicious and melt in your mouth whilst eating them!!! A trendy bar to but attracts all ages!!

I rate this 5/5 because I personally love Pizza Express, but not for the pizza. Go for salad, because the salads are the best they have to offer! Try the nostrana or the pollo salad - they are a full meal, and extremely tasty! The wine lists are always great, and there are always som excellent wines on there! Cheese cake is brilliant too.
Definitely worth regular visits!
