In comparison to other Booths’ supermarkets, I find this particular branch is let down by its design. The aisles are barely big enough to fit two trolleys down so you will often find yourself stuck and having to awkwardly manoeuvre around to actually get anything. Ignoring the ease of movement issue, the rest of the store is up to normal Booths’ standards - excellent local produce and selection, and some good specialist foods. However this is reflected in the prices - which are often higher than other supermarket chains in the area such as Asda, Co-op and even the notoriously expensive Sainsbury’s.

Booth markets are the ones that need to be people’s favourite especially for fresh and locally produced consumable goods, like dairy products, fruits and vegetables.
This market is a good value to utilize Lancaster’s fabulous nature and fertility converted into fresh and healthy food. Do you know that there are three local ice cream producing farms only in Lancaster. You don’t need to be a gourmet to taste the amazing difference in their ice cream.
Tomatoes from different places of Britain (my favourite is Blackpool’s) are provided freshly on the shelves opposite to lancashire grown salads in fruits & vegetables section.
All common brands and products are also provided, but the prices are slightly higher than Sainsbury’s but close to Spar.
In my opinion, the only missing part is a bakery inside. The only issue is that finding fresh bread and other bakery not possible though ready-made warburton et al. exist.
