Plas Madoc Leisure Centre

This pool is great. We are a family of 3 and our 2 year old has so much confidence around the water. Its nice that there is so much shallow water that allows her to continue her belief that ‘I can swim by myself’

There is an abundance of floats and toys (watering cans etc) both in and around the pool.

Great slides for all ages but safe if you have a 2 year old that thinks they can rule the world.

I wouldn’t recommend this pool if you are keeping fit because it was inundated with kids and no lap lane.

The changing rooms are pretty poor though, no individual showers and the family areas weren’t clean. If you can look past this and have a good wash at home it’s a great place.

I wasn’t aware that the swimming is in sessions which I guess may only be during peak periods but the timing was just right for us and made it easier to persuade little one to get out.

Went to the leisure center last night swimming with wife had good time.trying to keep fit by going every week.definately would recommend it.if you go have fun.oh they have a brilliant slide

This is the place to take your kids in the holidays or on a rainy weekend. It'll probably be busy though.

The biggest attraction is the wave machine ;)

There is also a "baby" pool, a water slide and spectators' area.

This pool is suitable for nervous swimmers too, as the floor of the pool graduates; you can wade in til you're comfortable with the depth and stay there!

There is also a leisure centre in the building, but I've not used it (see Waterworld in the town centre)
