Doctors and Nurses are generally fine. The reception staff and other managment team are the most horrendous people I ever came across.
My baby is registered with them, He became seriously Ill and just few minutes before his appointment with GP in Armley Medical centre He became worse so we have to call an ambulance. Mean while with a sick baby I am making calls after calls and the music wasted my ten minutes and no reply at all. I then didnt call them again because I was so worried about my baby. After a week they sent me a letter saying they removed Him from their list for missing one appointment. No warning nothing, just removed straight away and mean while doctors from A&E sent their details to them and they are not willing to take him back. They say its in their law. After few weeks we have to take him again to A&E and they told me GP cannot refuse to register your child. Tell them they are wrong and you will take action. I went their and they were laughing at me and said this is not A&E and A&E have nothing to do with us.
reception staff clueless and useless and rude rude more than once – having been told they do not do 6 weeks checks on both mother and child – also when ask if we could complain just told send in letter – no formal infomation given regarding this – like i said rude and useless.
aslo when ask about referal to the hospital this has had to be done twice which has ment going back down on the waiting list is this how they get away with the 18 week rule the goverment have done.
My partner was told she would have dental treatment to remove some teeth by last November (2009).
It is now September 2010 and she is still in agony and has received no treatment. The staff seem clueless when we enquire about the situation and give excuse after excuse as to why nothing has been done. These usually involve blaming everyone else for their failures. Absolute crap.
dtr my daughter was refured here for some dental treatment as she had some other medical problems our own dentist could not deal with. they were fantastic, reassuring & we were very happy with her treatment.
sorry to here you didn't have the same care

I use the doctors practice here and have always been happy with the service. Its easy to get a same day appointment if you call early in the morning. All the doctors have been good and the nurses i’ve seen too. The community nurses also use this building and I find its easy to access the health care professional you require. Good disabled access and good service.
great health centre , just what armley needed,
everything here that you need, doctors, dentists, midwifes, health visitor, peadiatrics services & physio, probably more that i forgot too.
situated opposite armley moor, on armley town street, a large purple building, this is a doctors practice i would recommend to anyone who just moved to the area.
the appointments for the doctors work on a same day service, ring at about 8.30 ish that morning & will be seen that day! fantastic, no waiting 3/4 days then your better by the time you get seen!
h/c was named by a local girl from the wythers in armley.
