They cancelled my order 6 days after I had paid without even telling me. I only got to find out when I got my credit card bill and noticed the refund.
They eventually replied to my email, saying that they were unable to confirm my address. What a load of old cobblers! I have been at the same address for over 30 years and no other company has been "unable to confirm my address".
Use a reputable company such as Cheapsmells.com

I would not recommend this website to anyone, I ordered two perfums in november, I've waited two months until I sent them a mail to ask where were my items, I got one answer saying there were no perfums left and I was supposed to get a refund a week later. Needless to say that 2 months and a half later I haven't received any refund yet. I have sent many mails without answers. Now I'm waiting to see if paypal can help me. I'm french and I will never ever order anything from this website! It's just awful!

Still waiting for the perfume and it is a week late - I have tried to contact the online company via email but heard nothing and have now sent 2 emails. I will be notifying paypal about this to see what I can do, as the website has decide to shut down now. Great

orderd an item which came to £50 over a week ago, i have sent FIVE EMAILS asking, basically what happenning and going on. on the order status it says SHIPPED and worst of all COMPLETE :( i am furious with this! i have not had one reply AT ALL! i am npot impressed what so ever! this was supose to be a christmas preasant for my wife. how can it say complete when i have not even recieved the product! i have asked for full refund and opened up a dispute on pay pal to try and resolve this issue!

London Perfume Shop is a scam. They did not deliver my perfume and would not respond to emails. I tried to phone them but note that they do not publish a phone number on their website. I obtained a number from Directory Enquiries but that was an obsolete number. Fortunately, I managed to recover my money from Nochex.
My advice is to avoid. The perfume is advertised much cheaper than elsewhere, but, be warned, it is a very clever scam

Phil_Brown, 6 December 2012:I can’t imagine you are going to get either the product or your money back from London Perfume Shop. I would suggest the only way you are going to get your money back is if you paid via credit card, you may be able to claim it back via your payment method. If you need professional advice, approach Trading Standards. Good luck!

I was very impressed with the prices, ordering, customer service, despatch and delivery - everything was easy with no hassle. Goods receive on time. The gift set was packaged extremely well. Thanks again. Will continue using London Perfume Shop

They look legit, the ordering process seems real but you will find that nothing will be delivered. So what do you do, contact them and tell them nothing has turned up but they will tell you that your wrong, it was delivered! So you ask them for a tracking number, but they didn't used tracked postage. How do they know your perfume was delivered then? Suddenly you smell a rat, luckily I used PayPal so I opened a dispute. After several possibly intimidating email from them and an additional one from their "legal department" I had to block their domain.
I have my money back after 3 weeks.....
They are a scam, keep clear and go somewhere else. This is your final warning!

as a mother of 4 I don’t normally find the time to write reviews however I feel obliged to do so in this case.
I have just fallen into the hands of THE ESSENCE STORE, an online perfume shop, CRIMINALS!!
After the experience I took the risk and ordered online again instead of buying my perfume in the shop. To be honest it wasn’t really the money, but the fact that I just didn’t want to believe that all online shops are Fraudsters.
And I must say I am very glad I placed my order with you! Super price, original product, prompt service and delivery.
I only wished you had more reviews…because criminals like THE ESSENCE STORE may make it harder for people to trust online companies.
I will def buy again and also recommend to my friends.
