Paul is a fantastic driving instructor and I would definitely recommend him. Throughout lessons he is professional and knowledgeable, whilst being reassuring and easy to talk to even if you're nervous behind the wheel. He is easy to contact and flexible with times and dates, which is good for arranging lessons around school/work. Car is always clean (and contains sweets/mints hahah) which is nice! Teaches how to drive intuitively rather than by using tricks or guesswork, which increases your confidence tenfold.

I would reccomend Paul Webb Driving Training, From my first lesson with Paul i gained confidence as there is no pressure and He reassured me  in everything i was doing throught out each of my lessons. I passed my test last week and Pauls methods gained me to get a blank sheet, thanks for everything Paul.

Always on time, always in contact and always as flexible as possible. I had weekly lessons (most weeks - working shifts got in the way) for about 8 months and was still unsure about my test. I passed first time, confidently with 5 minor faults. Price is average and similar to other companies/instructors but Paul has much more experience and is considerably better. Would always recommend.

I would recommend Paul Webb Driver training as the best way to safely and confidently get behind the wheel and on the road - Paul is a highly experienced instructor, his car is modern (and spotless) and he is a genuinely nice bloke! I felt a bit nervous to begin with but less that five minutes into my first lesson Paul made me feel completely reassured. Six months later, I passed my test first time! Paul's method of teaching makes driving instinctive, no bits of tape to align or dodgy tricks, you learn to feel and do it naturally. Paul has amazing insight and uses this to tailor each lesson to build confidence, increase skills and make the absolute most of each two hour session. I honestly looked forward to each lesson, thanks Paul!

I would recommend Paul to anyone that is looking to learn to drive properly not just pass their test quick. He gets you going from the first lesson which although could seem daunting, it's not because Paul's approach ensures you feel confident and in control enough to start in the right way. Paul is very friendly, has impeccable time keeping and the car is always clean. The things that really stand out for me for Paul is that he manages to vary the lessons week after week so that you are always learning to drive on new routes and learn new skills and he seems to have a very adaptable approach to the learning style required for the specific driving task that suited the needs of me.

Paul Webb is a fantastic driving instructor and I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone wanting to learn to drive. As a 29 year old man I probably started learning later than most - but thanks to Paul I now have my driving license – passing last week. Upon starting you will get a personalised log book, covering around 50+ aspects of driving. After each lesson Paul will review what you have done and prepare the next lesson in advance – listening to you to ensure you are building confidence in the areas you want. This structured approach enables you to identify areas for improvement and track progress so that by the time of the test you will be ready and not nervous. Tracking your progress will also mean you only pay for as many lessons as you need – Paul is an honest person and will tell you when you are ready for the test. I opted for the £200 block of lessons each month – which gets you five 2 hours sessions. Not only do you save money this way (taking the hourly rate down to £20 per hour – which is what most instructors charge) you also get the best instructor in Liverpool and a new Ford Fiesta to drive in – so this really is value for money. After four months I was ready for my test and passed no problem. Paul has a great personality that can put you at ease when behind the wheel – he doesn't rush you and is not critical in a negative way; all feedback is constructive and positive. He always turned up on time for my lessons and when I needed to re-schedule a lesson on occasion he was always happy to accommodate.

I just passed my test first time on Thursday after learning with Paul! He makes you feel comfortable and safe behind the wheel from your very first lesson. The car is always clean and he has an endless supply of sweeties. His patience seems to be limitless even with my little eccentric ways. 
The lessons are relaxed, and you don't just learn to pass your test, you learn how to drive like you have done for years. I cant recommend him enough!

Been driving for 3 weeks now, without Paul I'd no doubt still be practising my 3 point turns! Having taken the test 12 (TWELVE) times over 7 years previously, and being quite a nervous person in general I had resigned myself to habitual failure as far as driving was concerned.

Now, after a few months with Paul I passed on the 1st time of asking. Not only that, but I feel I'm extremely confident and safe whenever I drive or wherever I drive to. Paul not only teaches enough to pass, he makes correct driving procedure instinctive. He makes it so that it would take more effort to get anything wrong than it would be to get it right. It comes as second nature.

I couldn't pick a single flaw with any aspect of Paul's lessons. From the costs, to his friendliness, to his punctuality, he was perfect. This is coming from someone who experience nervous tics and panic attacks, I never once felt flustered at all in any of my lessons or the test itself. If there's something I'm not too great at, we practised it again until I was satisfied and confident. No matter what, Paul does not belittle you, he is an extremely talented "people person" and it's not hard to see how he has gained his great reputation.

From my own experience, Paul's record and the testimony of so many others, I believe he's the best driving instructor in Liverpool. I've recommended him to everyone I know, and I think they're expecting him to be small and green. Like Yoda, he teaches in a way that every correct thing you do is instinctive and naturally intuitive.

I’ve just passed my test this morning, first time with only four minor faults. I cannot recommend Paul as a driving instructor highly enough, these review-thingies need more stars! As a totally novice driver, I was completely terrified of the car and having to control something so big. But Paul taught me more than just how to drive; he taught me how to be confident in myself and my abilities, and laughed at my ‘5 minutes of panic’ at the beginning of each lesson.

There are no ‘quiet car park’ lessons to start with, Paul throws you straight in at the deep end: open road, roundabouts, crossings, everything. The only time you’ll find yourself in a car park is when you’re reverse-parking into a bay. Every lesson is adapted to suit each individual student, and if you get anything wrong, you can guarantee you’ll be made to do it again. And again. And again, until it’s perfect.

There is always a healthy supply of sweets, the car is kept immaculately clean both inside and out, and there is a spare pair of sunglasses for emergencies. Paul has such a brilliant sense of humour that you are immediately put at ease, and lessons are usually a relaxed affair. He was never late, and always informed me well in advance if times or dates needed changing, and was perfectly fine if I had to do the same. And his patience must be endless to put up with me and my little eccentricities!

Paul is a fantastic driving instructor. I previously had a bad experience with an instructor and was a little nervous about learning again but Paul quickly took my worries away. He takes pride in his car and the way he teaches. He made the lessons fun and enjoyable and i looked forward to every lesson with him. My confidence was built up very quickly and he taught me to be able to trust my own judgements and come to decisions myself. I really miss my lessons with him and can’t thank him enough. Paul is a first class driving instructor with pass rates that speak volumes. Paul is extremely reliable and takes exceptional pride in his car and his teaching, and within months I witnessed myself transforming from a learner driver to one with competence, confidence and independence on the roads.

It comes across almost immediately, Paul is not teaching you how to pass a driving test but instead how to become an assured and self-reliant driver. He is enthusiastic, positive and patient, and I never doubted the faith he had in me becoming a good driver. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

2/ good planner, never find myself in a situation of cancelling the lessons without good advance notice
3/excellent understanding various issues facing by the new starter, and put them in the ease.
