I recently went to level up hair design and had an amazing experience. Billy cut and coloured my hair.. it looks brilliant. Everyone is commenting on how brilliant the blond is and how nice my hair is sitting. I cant wait to go again and would recommend everyone to GO TO THIS SALON... ITS FANTASTIC. I will definitely be going back to Billy with confidence. Thank You for the wonderful hair-do xx

I bought a livingsocial voucher for my daughter as she has never found a hairdresser she likes in Edinburgh for all the years she has lived here. Billy cut her hair perfectly he listened to her requirements and did what she asked to a T I've not saw her so happy with her hair ever. Great salon brilliant atmosphere will defo be back.

I am nursing the worst haircut I have ever had I my life. I bought a living social cut and keratin blow dry and if you have bought one , DO NOT GO! I had to go to another hairdresser the next day to try and fix the mess made. Billy cut my hair, alarm bells started ringing when he could not hold his comb or scissors properly, as you would expect from a qualified hairdresser

Im so supprised at this as billy has never had a problem with his cutting skills I can only apologise. he is a bit awkward as he is left handed but this in no way means he uses his comb and scissors wrong. billy has had so many great compliments this comes as a shock. if you have anything else to say can you please call the salon and we can sort out this situation. nora

I was a bit concerned with trying somewhere new. I'm in my late twenties and like my hair well groomed! I found level up on megadeals and thought I'd try it. I'm glad I did. I now go to Nora regularly for highlights and cuts and always get a good hair do! She is excellent value for money. Her salon has a good, relaxed but fun atmosphere! All the staff are great, down to earth and have individual and very interesting personalities! I will keep going back for sure!

I normally hate going to the hairdressers, the mundane conversations, etc, etc. Level Up with Nora, Amanda, Billy and Douglas is a superb experience offering a professional service with lots of laughter. Amanda recently cut my and highlighted my daughter's hair, she gave her a great cut and really listened to how subtle we wanted the highlights. Go, you will never go anywhere else.

I went to Level Up 5 months ago and have been going back ever since. Nora is great to deal with, an excellent hairdresser and certainly knows what she is talking about when it comes to hair. I had brown hair and had dyed it using 4.99 dyes from shops which in essence destroyed my hair. I wanted to go back to blonde my original colour so this gave Nora a challenge in stripping my hair back as far as it would go, it took 3 visits to get it back to my original blonde and its now the colour i want it to be is great. Nora did not waver as it was a big job and finally got me where i wanted to be. The salon has a great atmosphere, good chit chat, very welcoming and the staff are brilliant. Well done Nora on having a fabulous salon. Look forward to seeing you soon. xxx

I visited Amanda for an appointment today, she is the nicest hairdresser I have ever had! She was very attentive, & listened to my requests before offering some advice of her own. She is delightful! Was a pleasant experience all round, & great value for money with the deal. Would revisit for sure.

Hi it’s nora from level up. Was there any reason why you didn’t get the result you were after, sometimes if your hair is previously coloured dark it’s more difficult to get clean blondes as its an uneven colour this then becomes a colour correction, I would like to know a bit more please xx

I found the information about LEVEL UP online. I was warmly welcomed on arrival and made feel at ease and like at home. Everybody was very nice and friendly. It was really like been at home with friends. Nora took her time, listened to my concerns/desires and came up with some brilliant ideas. The application of color/highlights was one of the most precise I ever had, the best one in my entire four years experience in Edinburgh. The final result is amazing. The best hair cut and color I have had in Edinburgh (and I have been to quite a few places) on such a great price. Billy was a very helpful and great fun too. I will be definitely back and recommend the salon to all my friends. Thank you very much Nora, Billy and LEVAL UP.

This was my first time at this salon. I was 15 minutes late but Nora told me not to worry and immediately put me at my ease. The whole process was fantastic – and I am not someone who especially likes having my hair cut. She listened and cut my hair exactly as I wanted. I now have a really nice cut and my hair looks and feels in really good condition, and to top it all, it was very reasonably priced. I’m really pleased I’ve found a hairdresser in Edinburgh I like – the search is over!

Just to add, today Amanda cut my hair and it was a great experience from start to finish. She was lovely and chatty but really listened to me and offered helpful suggestions throughout. I’m really happy with the way she’s cut it and styled it. So, I highly recommend both Nora and Amanda as hairdressers and if you’re looking for a friendly, unstuffy, professional salon, go to Level Up. Full marks!

Just thought i'd leave a note to say I've just been in and had a cut and colour with Amanda and I love it ! i would recommend this salon to anyone. She was friendly, but professional, made me feel welcome and at ease and I really love my hair. Will defo be back :-)

I found this lovely hairdressers while searching for great offers on the net, was impressed with all the fab reviews so thought if give it a try! Had a gorgeous all over red colour put on and was told the product Used was not damaging to my hair, which was a plus. All the staff here were super friendly and made me feel comfortable and right at home. My hair colour has been complimented loads and looks so healthy and shiny, I will definitely be back.

iv been going to level up since the salon opened and ive always had a fantastic cut and colour from Nora without fail, brilliant hairdresser and great chat, very relaxed and friendly will be my hairdresser for a long time to come. Brilliant !!!

I used the above deal recently, I found Daryl very friendly but the salon lacked profesionalism with customer care - at times I felt a bit like a dummy sitting while those around me chatted about what to have for dinner. I was sat at the door which was also very drafty. My hair cut was ok but poorly styled for leaving the salon as GHD curls fell and frizzed immediately. However my colours were very nice and Nora did a thorough job which has been admired.

I’m delighted your colour was admired and your cut was good also a bit disappointed that your curls dropped out so quickly but it can vary from hair type to hair type and weather conditions how long they last. We hope to see you again and will give you the same deal price. We try not to be too stuffy in the way we are with our customers but we are very professional xx

Great cut and highlights by Amanda yesterday! She did a great job and gave lots of advice about future care. She really listened to what I wanted and made sure I was happy with everything she was doing. Nice friendly fun atmosphere with people who know about hair!
