Huddersfield shopping centre is very much like any other shopping complex. It has a good selection of shops as you would expect. Although there is obviously no room for every High Street shop, the range on offer is sufficient for the Town given it’s size.
Admittedly, it does appear to be a little small – don’t expect the Meadow Hall or Trafford Centre. Overall, a nice addition to Huddersfield town.

seems like all the good reviews come from people who do like shopping that much its rubbish huddersfield for shopping spend one hour if that in the town when i have to , Huddersfield missed the chance to get people comming in too many cheap shops around and having to pay to park , Need more investment in the town but will never happen getting like Dewsbury

A pretty bog standard shopping centre. It actually has pay as you leave parking rather than pay & display which is almost unheard of in Huddersfield!!!!! but does make life much easier. However, the ticket machines don’t take cards which is just a pain.
Mainly full of chain shops, fairly functional but couldn’t have a proper shopping trip here.
They’ve starting piping classical music out near the doors, which has stopped quite so many teenagers hanging around, though it has had the effect of moving them indoors where they clog everything up!

I was so glad when Huddersfield finally got it’s own shopping centre! Most of the decent shops in the town centre are in here and in horrible wet Huddersfield it’s great to have all these places under a roof! Shops include HMV, Barratt’s, Topshop, Miss Selfridge, House of Fraser, Office, Republic, TK Maxx.
I’ve heard it critised for not being big enough or having enough shops but at the end of the day Huddersfield isn’t a major city where people flood from around the UK to go shopping! There is everything you need under one roof and there are a fair share of other shops around Huddersfield!

A very average shopping centre containing not much to get excited about, unfortunately the Kingsgate just didn’t really get the big names to move in.
The shops are mainly fairly dull and boring, my favourite shop in the centre is Office and I don’t really spend much time looking in the shops that are in this place. I tend to walk through the shopping centre to get to the car park and only look in a couple of the shops which is a bit of a shame really as they could’ve done so much more with it if they’d made it larger and got some better shops in there.
It lacks quirky little boutiques and independant shops, it’s more like they took the average highstreet and stuck a roof over it. I thought the White Rose was a boring shopping centre but the Kingsgate definitely has it beat.

This shopping centre is quite tiny it probably consists of about twenty stores but it is modern as it was only developed in the recent years and as it is located in the towns centre it is an addition to all the other shops. The town centre on a whole has many stores and the kingsgate centre offers stores such as new look, next, curry’s and Greggs. It doesn’t have any restaurants in it but then there are some on the high street so it is not much of a problem and you could probably walk around all the stores in this centre in about half an hour.

Very small as shopping centres go. It gets very hoy and crowded. Good range of shops, bot nothing exceptional except for the 'price drop tv’ shop, which is worth checking out. I would much rather have the white rose at leeds. Huddersfield can do better than this!

Cost a fortune to build and when I first walked into it and turned the corner I thought -where is the rest of it? Delusions of grandeur set out very palatially but the scale is all wrong -it’s very small.Parking easy but overpriced -of course.£1 flat fee on a Sunday -it used to be free.
Some big names HMV,GAME recent addition -House of Fraser.New Bagel cafe and a premium coffee outlet -I think it’s costa -don’t order the largest size -it’s a bucket -I aren’t joking -it has two handles either side it’s that big.Nothin unusual all the chains as you’d expect.

Best shopping centre in Huddersfield. Dominated mostly by clothing retailers. My favorite shops are Currys (even though there is a better Currys in Huddersfield), House of Fraser (good place to buy high quality presents for example for your girlfriend, trust me) and USC (not USB!). It’s clean and very bright inside, and you can also use the centre as a shortcut to Sainsburys. Also has toilets, including a disabled one.

This is a lovely centre, especially when there is wet weather. It is warm and spacious, though they do have some random classical music playing upon entry.
Shops include River island, Next, New Look, Republic, Tk Maxx and many more.
There is a large carpark as well as toilets.

This shopping centre has really improve the look and feel of Huddersfield town centre. Inside the shopping centre is bright and clean with a good range of shops you can get everything from clothing, cd’s electrical and also there a large department store too. There is a large multistory carpark too.
