I was unsure which hair salon I should have gone to in the Richmond area so i did some research and found carlucci Hair Salon, i met Max, had a consultation and after he did my Hair it came out better then I imagined!! I got highlights and a blow out i LOVE my hair definitely will be going back!!! Not only was Max so good with doing my hair but he was so warm and welcoming, same with his staff. At felt at such ease being there. I also got my nails done which are fantastic. I am a hair and nail lover and it is very difficult for me to find someone who does both well, CArluccis hair salon definitely exceeded my expectations. Highly recommend to anyone!!!

Absoloutely fabulous! I have never left a hair salon 100% satisfied until today. Max from Carlucci was wonderful. My color and cut was perfect- a credit to his attention to detail. Overall Max and his team gave me the most enjoyable hairdressing experience I have ever had and I will definitely be recommending Carlucci's to my friends.

This is the best colour I've ever had in my life. I was previously going to a big name salon in Mayfair, paying more than double, and my blonde would still go orange. Max has created the PERFECT blonde for me and even better, it's not hard on my hair because it's organic colour. I've had the Brazilian treatment, which was really nice. And I now have hair extensions, which look perfectly natural and make care of my hair even easier than just my own, believe it or not. This salon is a gem!

If anyone want to have a professional haircut go to Carlucci salon ! I just found this one 2 weeks ago and i am very pleased about everything,friendly people and professional,and that stylist Max is a magician he turned my black hair in a nice chocolate color wich i thought it will be impossible but he did it.On the price i think it was a bit expensive BUT it was worth it ,anyway if you think everything what is good quality is not cheap so overall i was very happy with everything.Definitely i will come back again whenever i will need to do my hair.

I have been going to max for several years and have never had a problem with the service he has provided. I have always been overly pleased with my final look and the great atmosphere puts the icing on the cake. 

I was referred to max by a family member and would never hesistate to recommend carlucci hairdressing to any of my friends. I recently recommended a friend which at first wasn't looking to get a haircut but managed to b intensed to get one with the look of my haircut :). She was extremely pleased with the service he provided to her and she loved the new colour of her hair. The relaxing music and friendly customer service made her visit worthwhile. 

Would recommend everyone to visit carlucci hairdressing as you won't regret it.

I have been going here for a little over a year even though it's not near where I live.  Max always does a fantastic job cutting, colouring and styling my hair and he and his staff always provide great, friendly service.  I highly recommend this salon.

Fabulous hair and beauty salon right next to richmond station, Max has been looking after my hair for 4 years now, he is fantastic, as is his team. Friendly, professional, accommodating and most importantly Carlucci hairdressing provides high quality hair products and services. Highly recommended.

I have been going to this salon for years now. I used to live nearby but now I have moved to Brighton and still have a regular appointment with max. The service is excellent and all the staff are very polite and friendly. I would recommend this salon to anyone who wants a reliable honest service. I have always walked away very happy with the outcome .

I was recommended Max by a friend after another hair salon ruined my hair highlights. It was pretty far for me to travel but wanted someone I had a recommendation about that I could trust. That was about 3 years ago and I have been returning ever since!
He always listens to what I want done and gives good advice. Max and his whole team are very friendly and its a very welcoming atmosphere. They also supply you with as much tea and coffee etc as you can drink!
Sure sometimes its busy and Max is working hard to keep up but I'd rather attend a busy salon that clearly has a lots of returning customers than an empty dodgy one! But even when busy Max is always happy, friendly and lively. He seems to know most of his customers by name and you get a very personal service.
I am extremely happy with Max and the salon and will contine to attend there!
I have highlights and he always does them to an amazing standard. I always very very happy with both the cut and color!

I've been getting my hair done by Max for about 7 years now. When I first met him I quickly realised that he has extensive experience in all aspects of hair treatment. On top of this, Max has always been extremely enthusiastic and very friendly, and always offered the most professional service. In fact, I have travelled to great lengths to only see Max in regards to my hair. Carlucci hairdressing offers excellent, top quality service and products at a good price. the salon has a very relaxing atmosphere and the other staff working there are also very friendly. Max is truly a world class professional and a genius at what he does.

I've been visiting Max and the team at Carlucci for the last year and have never come away disappointed with the hair cut or colour I get. Max and his team spend time finding out what I want and making sure that's what I get. They are always really friendly too making what could be a long couple of hours getting my highlights done, lots of fun. 

I recently took my mum along to get her hair done too and she left equally pleased.

Can't recommend Carlucci highly enough.

I love this salon!! I've been going to Carlucci Hairdressing Salon since it's opened and haven't been disappointed once.

Max is very patient, listens to your requests carefully and is a great stylist. The atmosphere in the salon is very relaxing, all staff are friendly and it's nice to come in after a day's hard work and put your mind at rest.

I have been going to Carlucci Hairdressing for years - initially because they were local but now I make the journey to Richmond especially :)

Max is a fabulous hair dresser and always finds a way to achieve the results I want – regardless of how challenging they are!!

 

As a busy girl that works long hours in the week - I love the fact that I can get everything done in one place – I get my hair done, eyebrows threaded, pedicure and gel nails done all at the same time!!

 

The staff area also friendly and chatty so it’s a lovely sociable environment to be pampered in.

I will agree with the first review... I was hoping that as the owner is Italian I would have found my regular saloon but I am rather disappointed. I asked for straight half up hair. The blow dry was Ok.. good volume but frizzy and not sleek..When the pins were put they looked terrible, so I suggested taking them off... Not only was I supposed to get 50% off as a first time customer ( this was a no since I booked the appointment, so just an advertising trick) but also 20% off because I booked online... I got charged £30 for a mediocre blow dry including the discount... The excuse? The time taking off the pin!!! This is unacceptable! At least the nail service was good... So need to find another local saloon..

    Hello,
    Just to clarify you have never booked your appointment on line as we do not have on line booking. Secondly you asked the stylist to do the blow dry and up do as well. Price for this starts from £45 for short hair. As you have long hair the price for this is £60. After our stylist effort you change your mind half way through and decided you wanted to have your hair down as you were rushing for a train. I would advise next time you book your appointment in your next local salon please specify what you would like to have done exactly and leave planty of time for this.

    I have just seen this reply. I don’t want to be argumentative but I was really fair with my review so I want be clear:
    1. I didn’t book online but I asked for the offer that was advertised online regarding new customers (as it is still here) and I couldn’t get it.
    2. This was not an updo but two tresses taken back, I have been to some of the best West End salons so I know well when you get charged for an updo. On top of that I have shown the hairdresser a picture so I knew what I wanted.
    3. There was an hour left for a blow dry so this should have been more than enough time! However, the stylist was really slow and only a picture would show how ridiculously bad he did my hair for half up. This is why I asked for my hair to just have my hair down and straight.
    As I said the excuse for the charges was removing the pins from my hair! Not at all what you are mentioning here..
    Next time instead of trying to rip off new customers and put little effort try to be consistent with your offers and accept criticism.

    I am looking for a hairstylist and stumbled across these reviews. It all looks so suspicious having 18 positive stars and the two people who had anything else but good feedback were attacked by the owner hmmmmm? Rather then saying I am sorry for your bad experience what can we do to fix it? That’s what a professional business does! They know the rule: the client is always right! All these stars seem fake to me I will not be going to a place with a owner with such arugant attitude!

I've been going to Carlucci Hairdressing for a few years and can highly recommend Max - he is a master at colour, making highlights look natural (and somehow the re-growth looks natural too!), brilliant cuts and blowdrying too. I go to Max when I have a formal party for an up-style and he always does something really elegant, not glued together with a pint of hairspray and not "Aunt Marge" ish. The pricing is also really reasonable!

What I really appreciate, is that when you chat with Max about what you want, the look you are trying to achieve, he listens intently, and will make suggestions and also (if your idea really won't work with your hair type, face shape or complexion) will gently tell you and suggest an alternative which will look fantastic. I never feel as if Max is rushing or distracted.

People always comment on my hair, and as I do think that great hair is vital to looking good and feeling great. No matter where I live, I'll always come to Carlucci Hairdressing for my hair.

If you are looking for a great hairdresser - go to Max at Carlucci: you won't regret it!!

Highely Recommended. I have been going to Carlucci's for several years now for hair extensions and can honestly say its one of the best salons in the area. The quality of the hair they use for the extensions is the highest I have ever come across and I am always complimented on how natural they look.  The atmospohere in the salon is always friendly and the service you recieve is first class. Max's creativity skills are amazing, I regularly go in there for an 'up do' or style before an evening out or special event and the outcome is always exceptionaly...I have never left the salon disappointed.

I've been going to carlucci's since it opened up and it's one of the best salons I've been to.They deal with each client professionally.Max who is the senior stylist there has a very good understanding of how to cut hair.Ive had very creative haircuts and colour done from him and I've been more than satisfied.Also the salon itself looks very presentable and the hair products that they sell are very reasonably priced with a vast selection .I would recommend this place to any one.:-)

Just had gel nails done - they are beautiful, best I have had done, I usually go to places in Wimbledon, Clapham or Tooting. Really thorough and friendly technician, comfortable surroundings, lovely OPI colours, nails look really natural, not too thick. And it was 50% off as it was my first visit so it was only £16 to have my old gel nails taken off and new extensions done. Definately recommend.

This was the worst hairdressing experience of my life.

Having my hair washed I had water split down my face, neck and in my ears. I was sat back in a chair covered with someone elses hair. and had to wait another 20 minutes for Max the hair dresser to start. He barely asked me what I wanted, and clearly wanted to get me out of the door as quick as possible. As he combed my hair he has scratched the back of my neck and the top of my ears so hard I have been left with red marks. 

In between cutting my hair he was jumping up and down to chat to his friend and his child who was roaming round the salon floor.

When it came to paying, I had been quoted £27 for the cut and it came to £49! Apparently the lower price is for a junior stylist... event though there aren't any other hairdressers who even work there!

What ever you do - NEVER GO TO THIS SALON. I was stressful, expensive and incredibly impersonal.

    Firstly, when you were leaving the salon you have never said you were unhappy with your haircut. Than you send your boyfriend to threaten the stylist. As he explained to your boyfriend the junior stylist was sick that day and Max had to take over. That’s why he was running a bit late because of the haircuts he had to fill in instead of the junior stylist. Also while you were waiting for the stylist you have received free shoulder massage.
    Secondly his child wasn’t roaming the salon as you say he was saying hello to one customer he knows.

    Please leave your address at the salon either via email or leave a message on our answer machine and you will be fully refunded the difference.
