Sirtakias, Berlin

I wrote a review for this place a couple months ago, but then I deleted it because I thought it didn’t do them the justice they deserve.
Words can’t describe how great this place is.
Now I’ll try again and get straight to the point.

It’s the best Greek restaurant I’ve ever been to. Maybe even the best restaurant, period.

The food is an interesting take on typical Greek dishes. Lamb on a skewer with home made potato chips is my particular favourite.

Their warm and cold meze (appetizers) are delightful. Humous, tzaziki and various dips are on offer accompanied by a basket of warm fresh bread. My personal recommendation are the spicy lamb sausages with dijon. Delicious!

Their beergarden is absolutely wonderful in summer, with music and shisha (waterpipe) on offer.

As a regular, I’m probably a bit biased towards the staff. I love them. They’re excellent at what they do and it’s evident that they enjoy doing it. They treat everyone like family.

I don’t have a bad word to say about Sirtakias.
Simply fantastic.
