Set on the riverside in the east part of town, the Watergate's most genius feature is the all-glass frontage giving you the clubbing equivalent of a "infinite pool", except it's a dancefloor. There's a terrace area on the water too, like a jetty (closed in freezing December when I went), and 2 floors of awesome music inside. Drinks are cheap for a place as cool as this (around 2 euros), but you might struggle to in unless you have a few girls with you. We told some story about having come all the way from England etc etc and they laughed and let us in. Inside, it's dark. The only lighting is this soft pulsating roof strip like nothing I've seen before really - hypnotic. Open till 0800... so get in late if you wanna last the night...
