A friend recommended me to Ron, I've got difficult hair as a mixed race girl, and its difficult to find a good hairdresser who knows what he's doing. Ron's brilliant, I don't really trust people with my hair, but he really knows what he's doing, my hair always feels brand new when finishes with me. He gives TONNES of advice on how to maintain, improve and grow my hair. Always welcoming, friendly. He'll be seeing me regularly thats for sure!

Great hairdresser. I've been going to Ron for about two years now. The best about getting a haircut at this place is that because it's so well done I only have to go back every 4 months. Ron really understands my strange hair, how it falls and grows, and what suits me and what doesn't. Would recommend it to everyone!

I first started going to the business hair studio back in 1992, and have recently gone back and I have to say, that Ron is still the same, welcoming, friendly and really takes his time with his clients and makes you feel really pampered and special. He truly is a first class hairdresser and knows what he talking about and does not rush. I will continue to see Ron, as he is the only hairdresser that I fully trust with my hair.

Top bloke and did a great job on my hair. Really knew what would suit me best and was happy giving advice on it. Really nice geezer too, makes getting my hair cut a less dull experience.

We stayed in London for a couple of months last year and went to Ron for the first time. Since then we especially fly from Switzerland to London just to get our hair cut by him - and because his cuts are so well done, our hair stays perfect at least for three months. Everytime we are looking forward to meet him because we know that afterwards we will look much better and besides that he is a very nice witty guy. He is our London hero and we do hope it will be possible for the next twenty years just to drop in his studio and feel great after every visit.

I have known Ron at the Business Hair Studios since 2009. When Ron started to treat my hair, which I must say Ron had it at a stage of it being in excellent condition after each visit. I stopped going to Business Hair Studios after year 2009. Due to recent damage in my hair where I went to have extensions put in elsewhere I have now returned to Business Hair Studios and after my visit to the studio my hair is on it's way to it's best again, a big thanks to Ron. I would alway's recommend him as you will have great result's & no regrets.

8 years ago at age 17 i started to get split ends, a classmate whose hair was thickening and growing said she was going to her hairdressers on a lunch break. So i went with her. it was My first Experience with a hairdresser, Ron said I needed light regular trimming. I was so scared as I wanted to hold on to the length. Since then I've been going monthly for wash, blow dry and trim and my hair has doubled in length and thickened.

I must WARN that I did stop going for 2 months as I was wearing my hair in a natural Afro and was away at uni and do not trust another hairdressers. I noticed my hair had started to shed and ends splitting. I ran to Ron, who RESCUED my hair, and I will NEVER TAKE A BREAK AGAIN or my hair will break again.

If you want a honest experienced professional hairdressers then Ron's the guy.

He doesn't tell you want he thinks you want to hear, he tells you what is best for your hair.

I've been a customer at The Business Hair Studio for about 8 years now and I wouldn't go anywhere else. Ron (my hairdresser) knows me better than I know myself. He wouldn't do anything he knows I wouldn't like. I've been a red head, blonde, had highlights, been straight, curly, short, long. You name it and I've done it. We have been on a journey with my hair and the journey only continues to get better. I recently, cut all my hair off and I absolutely LOVE it. Honestly I would recommend everyone from my friends to my enemies to visit The Business Hair Studio. Its worth every penny and I promise you won't be disappointed. The man is a true genius with scissors, clippers, straightners, tongs, a comb..........he's just the perfect hairdresser!

When you live somewhere for a good few years, but then discover it is time to move on- what things do you miss? Friends? Definitely! Work? Maybe. Only ever hair dresser to tame, evolve and inspire your do? Most certainly! I had been seeing Ron for 7 years up until recently.

I can't tell you how much I miss him already! He seriously has the power to look at your hair and transform your look according to your own unique style and hair type. Over the years he has done classic layering, retro locks, modern chic, natural looking blonde highlights, perfect colour match brown and many more styles for me and my friend who introduced me to him.

He doesn't do appointments, so just stick your head in "The Business Studio" and see when he is free next. He is usually ready to go straight away of you can go and grab a coffee from the awesome cafe behind the shop. In short, if you live in London, make the trip to Dalston- you will not regret it!

First time I've ever been to a hairdressers and felt like the person cutting my hair really knew what they were doing and how exactly to treat my hair. I've learned things I didn't know, tips for things I should do, and I will definitely continue to go back. Ron is a lovely guy, good to chat with and the prices are very reasonable. Highly recommended!

I have been having my hair cut by Ron for the past 5 years now and I have to say that finally I found the perfect hairdresser for me. He was reccomended by a friend of mine and from the first cut i knew he was the one!! He suggested the perfect cut for me... fast and efficient!

Yesterday I was feeling down and decided to get my hair done. Upon my arrival I was greeted and complimented by Ron. ;) Then he asked about my hair history and regime. I am very shy around new people but with his interesting conversation and infectious laugh Ron made me forget I was in a new environment. He explained what he would be doing, the current state of my hair and gave me a new regime. I was overjoyed with the results of my hair. I would urge everyone to visit Ron's Business Hair Studio.

Going to the hairdresser is as popular as a trip to the dentist for me. I've struggled to find a hairdresser who actually delivers, isn't insulting and doesn't accidentally dye the wrong colour/cut too much! On the basis of the reviews below I checked out The Business and can only agree with what's been said, Ron was great, the whole atmosphere was friendly, he listened, was able to give me pointers on improving my hair and we've now begun a beautiful hair journey together! If you see me bouncing my hair up stoke newington high street-I've just left the business

Ron knows his stuff and hes really friendly. When you first see him, you might think what does he know about black hair? Trust me, a lot. He's really educated me about my hair. For someone who had never been to a hairdressers before, I felt very comfortable from the first visit. I did not want to go to any old Tom dick and Harry to do my hair. I wanted someone who was professional and knew what they were doing - Ron does. I found out about him through reviews like the one I am doing now. I've been there three times now and I think my hair is already looking a little healthier. The prices are okay. You definitely get what you pay for. They are not ridiculously expensive nor are they ridiculously cheap. I come all the way from NW London

Having parted ways with my longtime and frankly mediocre hairdresser in Islington - who knew that sneaking a visit to his superior colleague would have cut so deeply? - I Googled madly, determined that finally I was going to have a cut and colour that suited me. Something got me revisiting the reviews on this website and yes, Ron delivered big time. In turns funny, smart, charming and filthy (isn't that what we all want in a hairdresser?) he won my trust and gave me the best cut I have ever had, and a colour that the last lot were aiming for but didn't achieve. I was so delighted that I asked Ron to marry me; I'll be back and back and back regardless.

The reviews don't lie. After transitioning for a year and a bit, I decided to do the big chop (myself) as I didn't know of any hairdressers that could handle natural black hair. I stumbled upon this site and based solely on the positive reviews, I decided to make an appointment with Ron for the very next day. It was great! He knows his stuff, puts you at ease, is a great listener, offers useful hair tips and loves working with all types of hair. I left the salon a happy customer. Loved my cut, loved the way my hair felt. I'll be back in a few weeks. It was important for me to write this review because without the reviews on this site, I would still be searching. Abigail

After having locks and natural hair for many years. I decided to go back to chemically treated hair (relaxer). I happened to be in Dalston one day and saw Ron standing outside his shop - The Business Hair Studios. I started having my hair done at Ron' salon back in 1982 and couldn't believe that he was still there in Dalston. I quickly made a phone call to arrange to go get me a haircut and some much needed TLC which is guaranteed under Ron's loving hands. He recognised me straightaway even though I am at least 2 stones heavier and made me feel as if I had never been away so long (luv him!).
Ron knows his stuff he is able to assess what your hair needs I am grey now and will not dye my hair if I can continue to love the look! Ron agreed and advised me on how to maintain my hair until it has gained back the healthiness my hair once had. I am soooooo happy that Ron is still there in Dalston. Please support The Business Hair Studio you will not regret it. I am committed to travelling from Croydon every 4 weeks from now on because I am confident I will not be disappointed with the expertise and professionalism that Ron is able to offer. The cost will not break the bank and anyway a girl's hair is her 'crowning glory' every penny is worth it when you look a million dollars.

I can't recommend Ron highly enough, I popped in on a whim not having had my hair seen to for about 2 years. He really knows his stuff. I was in and out in 20 mins and came away better informed and with a hugely improved hair do, couldn't be happier.

Brilliant place, I'll never go anywhere else now! The atmosphere is relaxed, Ron is a total wizard with hair, he is really charming and friendly and a font of knowledge, I came away very happy with lots of top tips! I didn't want much done, but Ron's lighter touch approach was perfect and my hair is much healthier without going for a total chop. Reasonable pricing too for the area.
