Wouldn't recommend. Very average haircut

It is a great place. I just love my hair after having а haircut at Scarlet's.

This was definitely the most friendly, most comfortable and best haircut I have ever had. Matthes and Alison were lovely and funny and Matthew listened to what I wanted, made his own (not pushy) suggestions and gave me the perfect haircut. Although I didn't have any beauty treatments, having met Alison I am now trying to decide what to have done first... They even offer a student discount on everything, making this much less expensive than many cuts I've had with incompetent moody teenagers at other salons. Believe the reviews! They really are that great. 

i walked in off the street when Scarlet & Hollywood first opened and walked out a friend. Allison and Matthew (the owners) are professional but also so friendly the time just flies by. They're also willing to indulge your crazy requests (like to have a facial while the colour develops on your hair). If you don't know what to do with your hair, Matthew will come up with excellent suggestions but never pushes you into something you don't want. A good time and an indulgent experience awaits you at Scarlet!

I had an amazing massage with Alison and a consultation with Matthew about highlights. They where both lovely and very professional and approachable.  The massage with Alison was 5***  

I decided to go to Scarlet & Hollywood after browsing their fantastic website and fabulous reviews. 

On approaching the salon it was very clean, professional and welcoming.... now I won't go anywhere else!

I just went there today for a Hollywood bikini wax, an upper lip wax and eyebrow wax and I had probably the best experience in my waxing life – ever.

Alison, the beautician and owner is amazing and very skilled. She makes you feel comfortable, she’s friendly, nice and knowledgable and an absolute fairy godmother. I came out looking polished and perfect, and I really could not ask for more. I barely felt any pain, and Alison was also careful to remove any stray hears as well – she did her utmost best and I could tell!

The prices are very reasonable and I got a 15% student discount as well. I am extremely pleased with the service and I already texted two of my friends that they should head to Scarlet&Hollywood for all their beauty needs.

I went there before Christmas, (My appointment was made same day!) And I really couldn’t be more happy with my cut. He knew my hair as soon as he brushed it out. I went in with frizzy, weighed down hair. We talked about my hair for a few minutes and decided on what to do. He asked me what I wanted for my cut and gave me his input as well. It was so great, I walked out feeling so pretty and nice! I love my hair now and will be booking an appointment for Mr. Man.

I love this place, it is enough just to go there and the result that I look gorgeous, feel happy and have relaxed perfectly!

A few weeks ago I tried Scarlet & Hollywood, and I was highly impressed. staff is lovely and they made the whole experience fantastic, from arrival to departure. I had a facial and really felt that they took the time to get to know my skin and my personal needs before they started the facial, with the effect that I walked out looking and feeling great. I am definitely going back soon!

One of the best thing in Caledonian Road,
Went there for a Wax, and Alison is really good. she takes her time and is very discreet.
Recommended.
Dont know about the hairdresser

very very very disappointed with my experience at this salon, i turned up on time and had to wait ten minutes before mathew came, then as if that wasn’t bad enough not only was he late but he started doing his hair in the salon in front of me. when he eventually paid me attention i was offered a cup of tea which had lipstick stains around the top of the cup….his trousers was half way down his bottom which made me feel very uncomfortable seeing his bare bottom on show. when i tried to explain to him what i wanted he didn’t seem to listen and was constantly talking over me. overall my hair was done on a trainee level and was wayyyyy over priced. i also had my make-up done i paid £35 for what i thought was going to be a full face of make-up that turned out to be bronzer and eye-shadow, no concealer foundation nothing!!! it was £5 per a lash extension for single lashes and she couldn’t even do them and it cost me £13 to have my eye brows waxed?!?!?!!? never will i go there again or advice anyone to there customer service and skills doesn’t live up to there prices!!!!!! p.s i only gave them a start because i had to, to write a review otherwise they would have got none…clearly they have been writing all there own reviews.

I normally take a couple of days to adjust to new haircuts as they are not my favourite thing but I left the salon loving my cut and colour from here. It was exactly what I was after (even though I am not the best when it comes to describing it). All this after sitting out in the sun on the porch with a beer to set my highlights. It was great and I highly recommend it.

I love this salon! Alison is great. I left feeling like I've really been pampered. Absolutely perfect choice of name! Completely unexpected to find such a lovely salon on Caledonian Rd - a very welcome surprise. I've been twice so far and haven't been disappointed. I plan to go there for my pre-wedding pampering with Alison and have Matthew do my hair. Can't wait!

Recently got micro ring extensions in by chelsea, because I wanted some volume as although my hair is long its really stringy and was a bit nervous because it was the first time I was having extensions done, but when she finished i totally loved it. I also got my hair dye jet black (my natural color) which i loved to because she washed and conditioned and styled it, plus the hair blended really really well with my natural I couldn't tell the difference, so felt like she gave it the kardashian look i wanted, defiantly recommend!!!!

There's a reason this place is called Scarlet & Hollywood - I walked out feeling like a film star! I was having quite a dramatic cut but Matthew knew exactly what I wanted, he understood my hair and made it work perfectly for me. I would definitely recommend. Thank you Scarlet & Hollywood!

Scarlet and Hollywood are the real thing! Totally down-to-earth, friendly, dedicated and good at what they do. Alison has rescued me in leg-waxing emergencies and then I tied the lazer treatment. After just one session of lazer, I was transformed. I can now where shorts whenever I want without having to plan around waxing dates. Being free from leg hair changes the way that you feel about yourself, and therefore the whole world. Thank you Alison and Nicola for being who you are and doing what you do.

One word to describe this place: AMAZING!
Alison is an absolute darling who pays very close attention to detail and precision. I went over there for a manicure and back massage, in which I've got to say was one of the best I've ever had. I came into the massage feeling tensed and in pain and came out refreshed and energized.
Matthew is a GENIUS with the scissors. He transformed my hair from flat and tangled to classic Hollywood darling!
I loved it and would recommend anyone to give it a try!

I've been going to this same place for a year now and have always been happy with the service and cut I recieve.

Matthew (my "cutta") has always done a remarkable job in chopping my hair into a style which I'm very happy with. I will continue to use Scarlet and Hollywood as I know I will be happy with the outcome of the cut.

I would just like to say that I have been on severl occasions now to Alison the beautician at Scarlet and Hollywood. She is highly professional, and gives you a 100 percent service every time I go, she listens to what you require and carries it out to the letter, she doesn't make you feel akward or uncomfortable in any way, she puts you at ease right away, the prices are very good value, with outstanding service, I can't recommend Alison highly enough, in short I used to dread going to beauticians for waxing, now I look forward to it.
