A restaurant that claims to specialise in Asian is a contradiction in terms. So we had a fair idea going into the restaurant that it was unlikely to be an extraordinary establishment.

Despite the restaurant being very quiet and our waitress very friendly our food was very slowing in coming. I visited the restaurant with two friends visiting from Scotland and we all ordered spring rolls to start and different main dishes to follow. I was most definitely the luckiest with my choice of main dish. My Thai duck was very tasty and only marred by a very small portion of rice that looked like somebody else had stolen the rest. One of my friends visited Vietnam a few years back and is very much into food and cooking so was horrified when his Vietnamese dish was served over chips. His feelings about his food were summed up nicely by a passing bird when we left the restaurant. Unfortunately for him the bird “summed it up” all over his jacket.
