On a day trip to Poole, stopped here for lunch. Big mistake!! Warning bells when we stuck to the table and the carpets. More like Battersea dogs home than a pub that serves food, (if that is what you can call it).
The food is truly dire, shed loads of bread with very little filling. Sausage and caramellised onion? I didnt spot the onion. Lasagne? They had just nipped to Lidl and stuck it in the microwave.
I could carry on all day, but you get the picture by now. Avoid this place at all costs unless you like sharing your food with large wet odorous dogs.
A great pub on Poole Quay with live bands every week. I think the pubs have a rota for bands otherwise they’d all clash!
Popular with locals and tourists alike, beers ales, and lagers are served. Plenty of outdoor seating but beware of presents dropped by seagulls.
Haven’t seen the loos!
As I write, a band is thumping something out, but nearer…
