This tiny place (although I think they also have a downstairs) serves some of the best Thai food I have ever had, including in Thailand. We tried the som tum (papaya salad), prawn gaprow (stir-fry with chilli and Thai basil), duck noodle soup and mango sticky rice, and they were all extremely authentic and made with high-quality ingredients. The gaprow in particular is the best I’ve had outside Thailand. The restaurant, which has more of a cafe feel, is justifiably popular and the turnover of tables is very fast at lunchtime, which means you may feel pressured to leave after eating (no problems with getting your bill here!) I imagine it’s a bit more chilled in the evening though.
It’s great to see a Thai place which is hugely popular despite not having compromised on authenticity or spiciness (watch out for the gaprow!)
