I used to drink in there before they renovated it and smoking ban came into force. It is nice and as Emmar says has picctures on walls of times past. They have a wee mini war going on as the rest of the pubs have in the area. I feel it struggles to pull in more customers and considering most of the clientele are over 40s its staff apart from Manageress Jackie need of more maturer staff where one can bannter with custormers. There is a quietness, like having tea at your Grannies and feert to speak too loud, admitedelly a voice does occasionally rise from the silence and is greeted by other customers with a fearfull uneasyness. But it does have visits from staff of DHSS JobPlus. I dare say there in there doing there wee sneeky bit for the countries tax payers.
