It won’t get any marks for architecture, but this branch of Oddbins is still great for an excellent choice of beer and wines. It is now the only Oddbins in the city after the closure of the Western Road branch.
I find their wines in particular incredibly reliable, and they particularly adept at finding interesting and good value wines from slightly more obscure places. The staff are very knowledgeable and helpful.
This branch is next to the small retail park with Comet, Furniture Village and DFS. It has its own small car park, but they also do deliveries Tuesday to Saturday (£5, free for orders over £100).
