The Sweet Cabin

It looks lovely and looks wise it is possibily the cutest sweet shop in the world. However!, the staff today are like two teenage “kevins” with very little if any personality especially when you disrupt their conversation as you enter the shop.
Secondly and most importantly, we purchased 2 sets of sweets. 100g of one and 50g ofthe other. It seems the girl was spot on and hit the right weights first time when she passed the bags to the second girl to weigh.
I was very dubious about that so I brought them straight home and weighed them. What was supposed to be 100g of sweets was actually 93g and what was supposed to be 50g of sweets was actually 41g.
For the sweets purchased, blackcurrent and liquorice and gobstoppers for my son that equits to THREE sweets light versus what I paid for.

I have been in this shop several times before and have found it quanit however, given the dishonesty and sheer grumpiness of the teenagers serving I dont think I will be frequenting again.

Possibly the smallest, and cutest, shop I've ever been in. The Sweet Cabin is part of Holme Grande Craft Village, and consists of a tiny raised shed, filled with giant bell jars full of retro sweeties. There's everything from blackjacks and fruit salads to mini eggs and gummy snakes. It's all reasonably cheap, and they even have the little paper bags to fill up.

I love it because it reminds me of being a kid and buying penny sweets. Sigh the good old days....
