Rock Star Tattoo Studio

Was apprehensive about getting my first tattoo done, but a quick chat with mark totally put my mind at rest as he and his staff quickly prepared my custom design and within the hour it was complete. I was absolutely delighted as the design was exactly what i wanted. I cannot recommend these guys enough to anyone considering a tattoo as they were fast, friendly, very hygenic and excellently priced. Thanks you guys.

Really clean and friendly, felt totally comfortable! Turned up on the Tuesday with a few ideas and by Wednesday afternoon had a beautiful tattoo. My boyfriend who was with me was unsure about what he wanted but found a design as I was getting mine done, he loved the design and within two hours he had a tattoo too, and for a discounted price! Could not reccommend this place more and we will be travelling up from Essex when we want our next ones!

I have had 3 tattoos done by Taran now- one of them a big thigh piece that took a good 4-5 hours to outline. He is a fab artist and him and Mark always make me feel welcome. Clean and tidy and always the offer of a cup of tea :) Had one done elsewhere previously but wont go anywhere else now :) x

I had a stunning tattoo done by Taran yesterday, the guy is a great artist, the place is spotless and they put you so at ease and make the whole experience enjoyable. I’ve seen Mark’s work on friends of mine and would recommend Rockstar to anyone.

I came across Mark and was really impressed by his attention to detail. A really friendly and talented guy. He seems to know exactly what plans and ideas i have and has done a first class job. He has a special gift for one off custom work and spends time making sure that it is just what you want. I would travel a long way to have a tattoo done by Mark. If you Live in or around North Yorkshire this is the man to come to.

I have now had 5 tattoos and my ear done by Mark and i refuse to go anywere else. I like that he does custom work and im letting him design a custom one as my next one. He is very professional and friendly, with free hot or cold drinks and lollies :) I have recomended him to all my friends and family, and my partner has just had a fab one done on his arm. Def the best place in scarborough for tattoos and piercings.

mark knows very well.h'es done beatles tattoos on me and just in process of get arm piece done.any thoughts u have bout tatoo just tell mark and he come up with some thing.hes also done tattoo on my wife back a butterfly back piece which my wife brought in 4 pictures and mark design the tattoo.would not go any were else.its 100 percent clean and u get free coffee and lollies lol no marks is defo the best in scarborough.if u read this and u live in scarborough or coming scarborough dont go any were else apart from here and please dont go to dark art tattoos very very dodgy and rubbish

i saw them on sunday for my first tatto in over 12years.needless to say i felt a llittle nervous but from the second i walked though the door i was made to feel at ease.i took in my own desgin and the work they did was perfect in everyway turned out a million times better than i ccould of ever wished for.i WILL BE GOING BACK VERY SOON.thanks very much.

Very friendly, unintimidating and professional. I had my nose pierced, having had it done elsewhere 8 years previously but letting it heal up because it never settled.

This time with Mark it was so much less painful than before, - not bad at all. I had brought along my own nose stud and it has a u - shaped tail and 90 degree angle that Mark explained was more complicated than what he would normally use as a first stud, even though it was sold as suitable for a first stud. In the event it went in fine but he was right to warn me and he was very careful and professional.

Three days on my piercing is comfortable and looks great. Mark uses a needle and catheter which I understand to be the best method.

I highly recommend this studio.

I FELT THAT IT WAS THE CLEANIST TATTOO STUDIO I HAVE BEEN IN, AND FRIENDLY, AND VERY PROFESSIONAL. I COME FROM A FAMILY OF ARTISTS, AND I WAS SO IMPRESSED WITH MARKS WORK. I SHALL NOW BE GOING BACK FOR MORE WORK. I ALSO MUST STATE SOME STUDIOS FOR WOMEN CAN BE VERY DAUNTING, BUT ROCKSTAR OFFERS SUCH A PROFESSIONAL SERVICE I WILL BE RECOMMENDING HIM TO MY FRIENDS AND FAMILY. I took my girlfriend in to get her latest tattoo.
Mark of Rock Star uses this new needle which delivers a slower rate of impressions on the skin, but in turn makes it less painful.
The style and the end product was great. The lines were that thin that he did the outline and the shading all in one go!
Mark was easy to talk to, utter professional and will definitely be using his services again.
