When I visited here to buy some games (I am a proud collector of old games) I managed to get PES 2008 at a very cheap price-and it worked with no problems whatsoever. Keep up the good work guys!

CEX is a company which specialises in buying products from members of the products and selling them at prices which are more expensive than Brand New Prices (such as a Wii Fit for £100 2nd hand when 1st hand is £70). Its okay to trade stuff in if your desperate for cash but otherwise avoid

I recently went to the new CEX on George Street and i was extremely impressed. Everything was clearly displayed and easy to find, all the staff there are very friendly and helpful. The store at East Croydon is good, but after seeing the one at George St i think they’ve done amazingly well. I would definitely recommend to everyone reading this to go and visit either of the Croydon CEX stores. WELL DONE GUYS!

The Cex in london seems even worse than the one in derby apart from the fact that the staff here do make an effort to talk to you, even if it is only to moan. Games are placed in no kind of order so it’s really hard to find what you are looking for and the staff seem to go out of their way to hinder rather than help.

I have a picture of the new shop which has just opened on George Street but the review counts for this one and the original shop which is next to East Croydon Station as well.

CEX is basically a second hand dvd and games shop. They also have mobile phones, mp3 players and peripherals for all of these things. I generally go there to peruse the dvds which cerainly cost less than you would find brand new but are not dirt cheap. However, sometimes you can find a gem which costs about £1 and clearly no one else wants. They have special sections for cult and world cinema which makes things easy to find if you like that sort of thing.

I’m afraid I don’t know much about gaming so I can’t tell you much about that except that they have a huge selection. Both shops do seem to be run by young men of a certain type so if you wanted to ask any questions you would probably get a very informed answer.
