Palmers Lodge

Most of my friends stay here whenever they visit London mainly because the staff is so friendly and does all your work quickly. A sure shot option to consider if you are visiting London for a brief period to stay.

I saw many hotels indeed on the Jakobsweg. This is a hostel offering anything a backpacker asks for. The good thing are the curtains around the double beds in the mixed rooms. In a 16-persons room we therefore a real privacy. Otherwise the offer is top. From the toothbrush which can be purchased to the free internet and wifi, included croissant and coffee in the mornings, juices and also the conservatory as a bar. It doesn't get any better.

Friendly staff, great set-up, close to Swiss Cottage and Finchley Road tube stations, just a few minutes away from Camden by bus.

The bar and restaurant they have are quite nice and with good prices but you might want to try the restaurants down on Finchley Road.

They advertise the London walks and they offer a 2£ discount for bus sightseeing tours.

I had to ask them to change my sheets because I found them to be dirty and they did it right away, I think it was an isolated incident though..

This London hostel has a wide range of accommodation for budget travelers including cheap private rooms and various dorms (with a unique ‘double bed’ dorm), all of which have been finished to a very high standard.
There is a bar (serving snacks) and value restaurant on the premises in addition to numerous venues in the local areas.
Central London is also easily accessible via the underground - or bus for nightlife enthusiasts!
