Compliment superchristine (21-07-2008) •••••
As a first-timer to Pitchfork I was completely unprepared for a couple of things…the first was the muddy grass (ick) and the second was I forgot my wet naps. Really, the only two things that were annoying.
The crowd there was super great, colorful and ironic t-shirts galore! Hipsters, I love you so much and thank you for being who you are and making my drunken Saturday that much better. Nothing beats sitting next to neon green stretch pants smoking a joint.
My only beef: can we get some other beer besides IPA or 312? Hey, both great beers but when I’m planning on a full day concert outdoor sunshine drinking kind of time…I need a pilsner. Anyone else get me on this?
My favorite thing? The prices were completely reasonable and not that jacked up rip off you see at a lot of shows! Ribs…$5….corn on the cob…$3?! Fine by me. Nice work and I’ll be there next year for sure.
