Well it was my partners Birthday so what do you do for the most spoilt woman in the world (she may disagree with me). Spoil her more so when we came across this pretty village of Adare a few miles west of Limmerick I booked us into the Dunraven Arms Hotel. I am told it won the Hotel of the Year in 2004 and judging by our stay it is well deserved. The hotel is oposite a row of quaint thatched cottages just near the river Maigue running through the village. The Rooms, or rather suites are furnished to the highest quality and along with a dressing room and top quality bathroom it made the stay one to remember. The food served in the restaurant was as to be expected excellent and deserves its host of awards by Egon Ronay etc. If you want to spoil your partner this is a great place to start and I must say my partner probably deserves it (Spoilt cow).
