Unfortunately no longer in operation. so unable to give rating, would agree with other reviewers, menu and decor stuck in the 70’s and yes the oldies did frequent it. but food was always nice and staff lovely. I had my 21st in it over 20 yrs ago. sad to see it’s demise

Ate here once, coming from Glasgow it's a bit of a distance to be a regular customer. Service was excellent, as were the surroundings. We were seated at a window so had a perfect view over Belfast Lough and the Marina.
More "Home-Cooking" than "Haute Cuisine" but prices were in line with "getting what you pay for". Food was well-cooked & very enjoyable.
There is a "Live" Folk Music Session once a week here, which I couldn't attend, as I was only in the area for a few days but I understand from the Locals that this is also good entertainment. Probably I will time my next visit to Carrick to take in a Session here.
Enjoyed my visit, and the Meal. Would come here again !!!
Worth the visit

I have only been here for a meal, so cant comment on the hotel aspect of it. I felt that the food was very average in terms of quality, and overpriced for the quality being given. The place also needs a serious overhaul as it seems very dated which isn’t really acceptable given the more modern places in carrick to visit.
Probably a better choice for an older crowd

This hotel is very much local to me so i don’t know what the rooms are like and won’t comment on their accommodation.
I use their bar and restaurtant on a semi regular basis. The Copeland Restaurant, upstairs, has a great view over the Belfast Lough so make sure you get a table at the window. Booking is always advisable a the weekend!
Would describe the food a good wholesome home cooking rather than haute quisine; good portion sizes too and not expensive. Bar meals are available too for that lunchtime treat.

This place used to be great, but it’s a bit dated now. Food is still good, but the service can leave something to be desired, depending who you get.
