Horrible company. I bought a restaurant voucher but the restaurant wouldn’t honor it. I contacted Travelzoo for a refund but they refused! I am disputing the charges with my credit card company and if not successful I am taking them to small claims court. I will never deal with these crooks again.

Hi, I’m Alastair McLean with Travelzoo Local Deals Customer Support. I’d like to make this right for you, and personally apologize for the less than perfect experience you had. Please send me an email to amclean@travelzoo.com with the name of the credit card holder who purchased the voucher for and I’d be happy to issue a refund in consideration of the poor experience you had with the merchant and with Travelzoo. If you’d like to speak to us about your experience, we’d be happy to listen. You may call me at 020 3564 3000. Thank you, Alastair

Got a better deal on my flight tix for Christmas than I could get online. Worth going into the shop sometimes, just proves not everything online is cheapest. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Fantastic month-long holiday organised by these guys. Well worth the trip up to town to organise it all there and then. Girlfriend loved their after care service and they got us featured in BA’s magazine. Can’t rate them highly enough.

TravelZoo is actually one of my favourite travel agents/travel websites. They send round a weekly newsletter highlight the top deals from all UK holiday and filght providers. These are super exclusive deals which most of the travel agents make a loss on, so you are almost guaranteed a rock bottom price. The site is simple, easy to use and i have never had a performance prob on the site. Why can't all travel agents be like this, huh?

TravelZoo is probably my favourite travel website/weekly email. The great thing about these guys is that they put in the hard graft to go out and source some pretty amazing deals. Most of the deals you find in their top 20 are exclusive to travelzoo and can't be found anywhere else on the net. Best deals i've ever found:

- RTN flights to New York for £189

- 1 week 5* All inclusive in Egypt (including flights) for £300 (kinda makes you wonder what the other guests in the hotel will be like though!)

Highly recommended.

A real find ! Signed up for their weekly '20 best of’ and have to say there are some real bargains on there both in the UK and abroad offering any number of breaks one may not normally consider. Am off to Chicester in a few weeks - nice refurbed hotel in the old town for a pound a night !!

Travelzoo’s strength is in its simplicity. It’s not a sell-out littered with garish advertising or annoying second-hand-car-salesman-like tactics to get you to buy stuff. It’s like a friend saying - Ooh look what I found, thought you’d be interested. And the deals they bring up are extremely tempting - 20 hand-picked travel deals to send your mind around the world by lunchtime.

I enjoy reading Travelzoo’s weekly newsletter, whether I’m really looking for something to book or if I’m just in the mood to dream. There’s always variety and choice here along with some tantalising bargains. Featured items range from UK train travel to European flights, Mediterranean breaks and luxurious splurges. The links usually work well and background tips and details are helpful and informative.

When I have booked (train travel) - through a highlighted top deal - everything has run smoothly and I’ve saved a few pounds. There are no strings to signing-up; check it out for yourself, when you next need to book an escape or business trip, or if you fancy a quick snoop combined with some holiday dreaming.
