ive used this tyre supplier for several years now having tyres fitted on four cars without problem,my only concern is you may have to wait a few minutes due to them being so popular and well known in the town,oh and my girlfriend says i look a lot like the gorilla in the entrance.i would recomend to anyone.ian.

I have used this garage many time's in the past and can guarantee the service is spot on, the guy that own's it is very honest and friendly and the prices are very competitive. I have had 2 seperate set's of alloy wheel's to the garage and they have not been damaged in any way and if they had been im 100% that they would of sorted it for me. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS GARAGE TO ANYONE.

With reference to the comment made by MickyM I would like to reply by saying that I have been in business for over 30 years and run a spotless, clean, happy garage and I don't believe that the damage done to your wheel was our responsibility (you must have gone somewhere else as there are a few garages in Southwick). All our work is guaranteed and if you felt the damage was caused whilst the wheel was in my possession all you had to do was give me a ring or call back in and I would have sorted it out for you or replaced it with a brand new wheel. Your friend recommended Thompson Road to you so they must have been happy with the service we provide along with the many many customers who come though my door. By the wording of your comment you don't sound very old so if you felt a little intimidated by ringing me you could have asked you mam or dad or a friend to act on your behalf. Dont ever be afraid to ask.

All I meant was if you weren’t happy you should have came back to let me know and I could have rectified the problem (if it was done here in the first place which I very much doubt). I’ve checked my books and I have no records of a repair to a 56 plate Passat. Ive also checked and no one seems to know who you are at Stagecoach. I feel you must have went to someone else, or you are a competitor trying to get me a bad name. Either way it is not working as i’m as busy as ever. I have someone from stage coach standing next to me having work done on his car and he doesn’t know who you are either.

I don't know how you can make such a bad comment mickym22, I have used Thompson Road Motors for years, they always provide an excellent service and never charge too much. I too have shopped around and found them to be the cheapest, my alloy was damaged when I went in to have my tyre replaced and they repaired it for me without asking and charged peanuts for the repair. I think you're out of order putting a comment on like that. I would definately recommend them. After all, there are some people that you just can't please! Maybe YOU should open a tyre service if you think you can do a better job, I bet you can't, you didnt even have the sense to give them a ring regarding your complaint.

WELL THEY HAVE LOST ME AS A CUSTOMER AND ALL MY FREINDS AND FAMILY AS WELL JUST ANOIED ME WHEN THEY DAMAGED MY WHEELS AND NEVER SAID ANYTHING ABOUT IT ANY DECENT PERSON WOULD HAVE TOLD ME WHAT THEY HAD DONE AND PAID FOR THE REPAIR AFTER ALL IT WASNT ME THAT DAMAGED MY WHEELS WAS IT !!!

alfiegary, 2 July 2012:did you contact them after you noticed the damage? they always seemed honest to me and I’m sure if you’d contacted them they would have repaired the damage if it was them that caused it in the first place, I and everyone I know that uses them have never had a problem.

would defo not recomend this garage i went here last week. a freind told me they were the best to go to i wish i never went there prices were far to high and also damaged my alloy wheels and never mentioned it .didnt notice until i got home and seen realy deep scrapes in my wheels now just had to pay £150 to get them referbed please do your selves a favour dont use these people !!!!!

WOULD DEFINATELY RECOMMEND.
I was ringing around for a price for 2 new tyres for my 03 Renault Scenic. I contacted a number of Tyre places in Sunderland and was told to ring Thompson Road Motors by a member of my family. I spoke to the owner who was very nice and the price he quoted me was much less than everyone else. I went over and they changed both of the tyres and balanced the wheels straight away, they were really friendly and talking away to me, the customer service was really good and the price of the tyres was fantastic.

been back to see barry again today to have the rear tyres sorted on my laguna after doing the fronts last month,again barry was a gent to talk to and you cant fault his prices or workmanship so cant understand how that bad speller mickym22(is that micky mouse)can be so negative or was it because he was jealous of the gorillas good looks..keep going barry.
