Terrible car park.
The time displayed on the entry barrier does not match that on the entry token – printed tickets not used so so can’t verify what time they have used until you get the shock of the price when you come to leave. If you arrive before 4pm they will charge you full daily peak rates for every hour after 4pm. I arrived at 3:50pm left at 11pm and was charged £15.00 – should be £4.50 maximum plus 1 hour at normal rate.
The car park is badly lit in lots of places.
Little in the way of signs/directions
Exits to stairs/lifts not sign posted
Pay stations not signposted
Avoid at all costs.
The shopping area itself is very dated – distinctly 70’s feel and very crowded.
Soem good shops the the centre itself is best avoided.

Nice place to shop, but the only bad thing is when you approach the inside market and the fishy smell all over the place. It's a big shop and you can find whatever you are after.

Not a bad place to shop, however the smell from the fish market especially in the summer is quite strong. All the usual big name stores with a bus station at one end of the centre. Would have give a higher star rating if something could be done about the fish smell.

We Went Shopping at the Victoria Centre Shopping Centre - compared to London Shopping it was a Bargain, besides all the top named stores like John Lewis, House of Frazer, Next, Gap, Dixons, CarPhone Warehouse and a massive Tesco Metro Supermarket open till 11pm each night, it had a fantastic 2nd floor Market with cheap clothes, a market with fresh Meat, Fish, Chicken & Fish Stalls - we stayed at the Victoria Centre Self Catering Apartments above the Victoria Centre Shopping Centre and next to the expensive Hilton Hotel, and i can honestly say that we had the best accommodation of our lives! It was dead quiet, a large 2 double bedroom apartment with wifi internet, tv lounge, kitchen, washing machine, all with wood floors and 2 double bedrooms, bath & shower - it was brilliant for our stay in Nottingham and just 6 minutes walk to the theatres, casinos and next to all the bars and restaurants and nightlife of Nottingham - i thoroughly reccommend the Victoria Centre Apartments - enjoy nottingham, a buzzing student city - they say there are 6 girls to every guy here - what more can i say.

Average shopping centre, all in one so convenient, some sad food places, I used to go mostly for the Boots, Tesco, high street stores, the Pier upstairs, and to tinker around with the instruments in the music shop.
Oh there is also an actual indoors market on the second floor as well!

I would say the victoria centre is one of the best shopping centres in the country, with a vast array of shops suiting all tastes and ages, threre are plenty of places to eat, and a huge car park underneath, so if the weather is not good you dont have to venture out of the centre, the parking is a bit pricey though.

The Victoria Centre is a shopping centre, situated on the north side of Nottingham. The car park is underneath the shopping centre it provides 1,000+ car parking spaces and whilst at peak hours there can be a bit of a queue to get in, its normally not too long. A bus station is available that has links to 'red’ bartons buses. The regular city,’green’ buses stop at various points around the shopping centre. The centre has a wide selection of stores including Boots, Next, House of Fraser, WHSmiths, Top shop, Dorothy Perkins, Disney Store and many many smaller stores also. Theres a large indoor market thats worth a visit, places to eat and places to sit and while away the time. When paying a visit to the Victoria Centre take 5 minutes,on the hour to watch the clock, situtated outside Boots. It will perform and play its music. Throw a penny into its waters and make your wish.

The Victoria Centre is your typical shopping centre with all the High Street favourites such as Boots, Topshop, Dorothy Perkins, Next etc. It also has Tesco and two department stores - John Lewis and House of Fraser. It is currently the better of Nottingham’s two main shopping centres but Broadmarsh is going through a huge redevelopment and I think Viccy Centre will very soon look dated. There is a market which used to be buzzing but now has more stalls closed than open. It would be great if they gave that an overhall and embraced a few more unique retail experiences. There is also a fish market which really does pong downwind. But all in all it’s a decent place if you want to stay under one roof.

The largest shopping centre in Nottingham. Shops include, John lewis, House of Fraser, Next, WH Smith, Superdrug, Topshop, Boots and Game.
There is a fountain there where “kids” though pennies in and at weekend market companies sometime dish out freebies.
Its always busy and, espesially at christmas time, very bright and festive.
Everything that you could want can be found in here.
On the whole i find the Victora Centre too busy and much prefer the street shopping in the area. Yes its good and everything is in one place but this is offset by the amount of people who barge and push their way through the complex.

The best place to shop in nottingham, lots of shops and victria market. The shops are all indoors and parking so you don’t get wet or feel the cold.

This is a great place to go shopping. There is many shops and it is great because if the wethers bad u dont hav to worrie about it. There is a wide variety of shops but some of them are on streets close buy to the centre that are not in the centre. At christmas the shopping centre opens late and the decorations are great!! The toilets are ok but could be better but they always seem to be clean. There is a market upstairs in the centre which is good for fresh food and bits an bobs but sometimes it makes the centre smell of fish!! There is both staris and lifts to get to the second floor which is always helpfull. Overall i think that this hsopping centre is good and it has good atmosphere about it.
