Radio London Hair Salon

I had my haircut tonight at Radio Salon - the first time I've gone there, and also the first time I have written a review for anything. I wanted to because it's genuinely the best haircut I have had (thank you Ursula!) and I've always found it difficult for most hairdressers to understand my curly hair, with quite a few disappointments. My hair looked amazing though and feels lovely and healthy.  Plus all the staff were chatty and friendly, and I was well supplied with magazines and complementary drinks, so all in all I will recommend it to anyone and will definitely be going back. It's now my favourite salon ever.

I have had my hair cut at Radio Hair two times, the cut was okay. Had it cut by the senior stylist and paid him good tips as well. Having said that, I don't think I'll go again, not because of the haircut more because  I didn't feel comfortable there, it was very staged...from the way everyone acted to the way everyone spoke, it just felt very odd and pretentious. I constantly felt looked upon by the over crowded amounts of staff just standing around starring out into the air or pretending to be busy doing nothing. Some of the staff tried to be way too cool for their own good, I was asked if I wanted to read some Magz (he probably meant magazines), I mean...come on! I will probably go there if my new hairdresser is away, but to be honest, I don't think I'll be back. Okay haircut, pretentious atmosphere, 3 stars.

I couldn't agree more with all the good reviews here. Went yesterday determined to make peace with my curls after a lifetime of straightening my hair, and Rodrigo nailed my haircut. I knew I could trust him after a few minutes talking to him, you can definitely tell he knows his stuff, so I let him do what he thought would work best. This morning I had a job interview and my hairdryer bailed out on me, so I left the house in the rain with my hair still half wet, and it behaved so beautifully I'm speechless! Thanks a million, Rodrigo! x

I went to Radio for the first time this week encouraged by the good reviews here and I'm very glad I did! I have thick and curly hair and have had a lot of bad experiences with hairdressers before but Radio were fantastic - Oliver really listened to what I wanted, gave great advice and I walked out with a haircut I absolutely love. Finally someone who can cut my hair without making me look like an aunty! I had a nice time too, everybody was really friendly and it was so worth the money. Highly recommended and I'll definitely be going back.

This is the BEST hair salon in London. I have been going to Radio London for 6 months and they never disappoint. I am very picky with my hair having been a professional hair model in the past.
The receptionist is always very polite and very helpful. The salon is airy, very clean and edgy - but not scary edgy. Free coffee, tea and sparkling wine are available. The hidden gem is Rodrigo, he is the perfect hairdresser: very talented, he listens to what you want and provides great advice. He is a great colourist as well. The service is superb: they are very attentive, from the moment you walk in to the moment they wash your hair. You may bump into the lovely dog as well. Radio London is the Bumble & Bumble headquarter in the UK and you will find the full range of products. Highly recommended.

As I walked in to Radio, a well located salon in central east London but still a bit secret off on Redchurch Street, I were met with friendly smiles which put me down into a relaxed and exciting mood to get my blond hair roots done. My hairstylist, Rodrigo, where there welcoming me and took me to my seat, he started to ask what colour tone I were looking for and I felt directly that I were in professional hands! While my hairstylist Rodrigo mixed the colours, a hair assistant served me a nice fresh cappuccino as well offered me some reading- As I am not a a magazine reader he recommended me a easy/ fun book from their wide book collection, which I really enjoyed! Though out the appointment not just my hairstylist Rodrigo but also the rest of the team in Radio made sure I had everything I needed and made me comfortable. For my cut I booked an appointment with Oliver, extremely talent and professional, listening to my needs and wants! Amazing cut!! – I walked out with a fresh sun kissed tone of my hair, perfect natural cut!! there have been years since I very this satisfied after a hair appointment! I really really like Radio. The stylist did a fantastic colour and cut but the whole salon experience is what makes it stand out. They have a great drinks list, from juices, to (excellent) cappuccinos)to prosecco and were generous in offering them. In spite of being in trendy East London, all staff were very friendly and the atmosphere was laid-back and welcoming. My only problem is that the prices are a little too expensive for me to go every time, although they are certainly no worse than Central or West London prices. I recently went in for some advice after another salon made a real mess of my hair and both the receptionist and manager were very helpful in offering advice. Will definitely be going back once I’ve done some saving…

This is a salon that, unlike so many wanabees, truly gets the meaning of ‘cool’. Forget attitude, swagger and preciousness; Radio delivers where it matters – professionalism, friendliness, great skill and, crucially, an eye for style that enhances your look rather than making you look like a fashion victim. Their top guy, Oskar Pera, is my personal recommendation, but I think you can expect a pleasing result whoever looks after you. Oh, and don’t miss the salon dog – the cutest you ever saw!

Finally one salon in which you can go without being totally stressed! They are professionnal, always listen to you carefully to make you the perfect haircut and colour! And all that with a team always smiling and taking care of you. Just go, you’ll sure come back.

I am very picky when it comes to hairdressers and I have changed many over the years. I am a Bumble & Bumble fan and I saw on the internet that Radio is the flagship store in London. I went for a cut and colour and I had the best service ever. Rodrigo coloured my hair and gave me plenty of advice. The colour is perfect. He then cut my hair and again it is pure perfectioon. Great attention to details, super professional and capable. Also the assistant was very attentive, offered me tea (complimentary and not at extortionate prices like in other salons) and super hip fashion magazines. The salon is located in Shoreditch. Very easy to reach by public transports. Clean, airy and super friendly staff. I have found the perfect hairdresser. Highly recommended.

Great hairdressers. These guys really know what they’re doing. I always have my haircut by Lee, and he’s never failed to do anything but a fantastic job.

I can’t recommend Radio hair salon highly enough. After home bleaching my hair (because I had always been disappointed with hairdressors) I finally took the plunge and went to get it done professionally at Radio after hearing lots of good things. The salon is really trendy without being intimidating and all the staff were lovely. I had the colourist Lorin who managed to change my bleach blonde hair to an amazing auburn with ease. I will definitely be back!

My hair is a big mess or should I say was, cause after many years at different hair salons, hairdressers and colourist I finally found the perfect place to restrain my big curly hair. The place is Radio Hair salon, located in super trendy Shoreditch in East London.
When you enter the salon your nose meets a delicious smell from their Bumble and Bumble products, your eyes will see walls decorated with interesting art and most important of all you’ll feel a welcoming and relaxed attitude, ready to start your amazing treatment, from the cool and friendly team in Radio.
Last time I was there, their lovely colourist Lorin took care of my roots, while I was enjoying cold cranberry juice and reading several art and fashion magazines. Lorin did exactly what I wanted and I satisfied walked out of the salon showing of my new soft blond hair.
I therefore highly recommend Radio Hair salon to everyone who wants a professional hair treatment and especially Lorin as your colourist. A big thanks to the team and shop for a great experience- see you soon ☺.

A wonderful relaxed atmosphere in this hair salon on Redchurch Street, helpful and the results are truly amazing, worth the indulgence.

Amazing! I’ve lived in London for many years and been disappointed every time I’ve cut my hair. Until now. Lee at Radio was absolutely amazing!! All credit to him and the salon.

Radio is a very friendly and comfortable place to relax while you get your hair cut. The staff are very professional and the results are of a high standard. I had my hair done by Katjia and i was really impressed. she really listened to what i wanted.

Tried Radio for the first time the other day as it is very near my office and I walk past everyday.

I have to say I was very impressed. Great atmosphere and ambience (they have rolling art exhibitions on each month), friendly staff and if it had been a Friday I would have had that beer they offered me also. Most imp though they have given me the best haircut I’ve had in ages. Will be back …

Radio has a nice atmosphere and staff.
Since my first visit my hairdresser is Ursula and every time I find her really professional, kind and helpful. She would listen to my needs and put it in practice! It’s always a good experience when I go there so I highly recommend this salon.

My previous hairdresser never listened to me and I always ended up with a shorted haircut than I had wished for. I heard good things about Ursula and the Radio Salon and I booked in for an appointment. Never again I walk out of the salon thinking "it's not exactly what I wanted". And I even trusted Ursula to cut my first ever fringe and not looking back! Great atmosphere, decor and brilliant customer service. Five stars to Radio!!!

I'd been on the look out for a new hairdresser for a year or so, since the guy i used to go to died when the banana-boat he was riding on went into a cliff

I'd tried several different places before trying Radio London when they opened a few months ago and had Corrado (who owns the place) cut my hair.

He gave me plenty of time to talk through what i wanted, some sound advice, and did the haircut exactly as promised. Normally i don't like having my hair cut, but this was a real pleasure and I've been back twice since.

Nice coffee too (you get a biscuit).
